@Tasty - yes i remember it well GKP was an aim outfit back then, held a few shares but nothing major, i also held VOG, Rockhopper, Xcite Energy, Tower Resources, made a packet with Xcite and lost the lot with VOG, VOG have literally only just folded a month or so ago.

Im guessing GKP is in a much better place these days management wise?

Back to POLY i noticed those two large trades appeared again this morning pre market, another 2.6 million and another 1.7 million share trades, one a buy and one a sell. Anyone any idea whats going on with POLY over the pond? Some large orders off book in US Dollars?

@Zebbo - the problem is inflation its going to be difficult to get down with profiteering, you can see it now its gettiong baked in, whilst people have money now we are only at the start of this cycle, if doesnt come down monies will soon be spent and dry for your average house hold

@Belgrano - if Barcs has seen the bottom it will almost certainly return to that number again, i see the FTSE going down now over weeks\ months to low 7000 area minimum possible low 6000, as interest rate measures start to kick in, we have just made a new high in a world crisis and i only saw that as a move to suck lots of buyers into the market and get locked in, i said it a year ago on the POLY board as you might remember and Carmichael is right its a game and previous experience told me thats how they will play it. This is all imo but Banks for me are trade in and out on the swings now, FTSE 100 will continue to make bear rallies and drops, all news dependant now and if the war ends and peace comes soon it might save us but im not holding my breath (yet)

Go back and watch the videos on Mr Putin at buckingham Palace, go back and look at him in the US that man wanted to be part of the gang and he got humiliated on many fronts, shown up ridiculed all because the US want to hold on to power. He has done a lot for Russia in his time in power so even if they have stolen money is that any different from what these thieves do to us with energy crisis, banking crisis, covid? Its called white collar criminals and we let them get away with it. @hopeful - i cant point you to one article that will make your mind up, you have to watch many and read between the lines, my whole life i have spent fault finding looking for root cause and piecing together puzzles looking at the bigger picture, if you want cut out the noise go and look at videos before the war started. The root cause here is the US democrats and globalist, the expansion east is part of this game to use up the highly educated and extremely cheap labour of eastern europe so yes you guessed it money is the root cause. Look at all the threats that came from the US before the war started on many fronts, the US has the biggest and most evil propaganda machine on this planet and its all fro them and those to hold onto world power.

Putin didnt wake up one day and decide to this, hes become an angry dog and rightly so they way the west and in particular the democrats have treated him, if you keep kicking an angry dog it will bite you and bite effing hard. Im not making any excuse for Russia its horrible and should never had happened but everyone is pointing the finger in the wrong direction for root cause, the US democrats and their insatiable appetite for power and money pushing everyone to the limit.

@big-blue - i hate to tell you but you do not represent the west, my views to the war have changed as the truth is now out there, and anyone with normal flexible mind set wanting to hear the truth would also. Are you a closet democrat by any chance? Im not politically motivated at all and am now neutral with my views towards this war having found out the real reason behind why we are at this point.

@Clark - you can make a packet on these swings, or sit it out as you say, i need to be proactive with my trading these days as doing nothing is not an option now having learned from experience, this is more down to my mind set and trading style and risk appetite.

Im heavily into GOLD atm, i could be tempted back here but the price would have to be cheaper as im going defensive for a bit to see how this plays out, things will look a bit different in a few months....

i wouldnt get to excited, yes the SP looks cheap but it can go a lot lower, sentiment is negative towards banks atm, TA looks bearish as well, dont forget to take your profit because from what i see and hear we are in for a lengthy period of high volatility.

@Echo - agreed, in my experience a trade of that size would normally hit the price hard, no other panic sellers so its not bad news related, in fact a 1.7 million buy at 4.10.

Without doubt in this exceptional circumstance this shares finds itself in i agree the price is being held in this range, will be interesting to see if any 'unknown' orders come through as the first trades tomorrow.

@Dynamo - best to leave the politics, accounting and share dealing to the professionals, we wouldnt want you dying of embarrassment, uncle Dave needs you (with an uncle Sam pointy finger) yes sir!

@MrA - yes i took my small holding off the table with very small profit Friday, waiting it out now, will we see the £1 party before the end of the month? Possibly.... good news is that oil is dropping which is a good indicator re inflation so im thinking fed might ease a 0.25, BOE likewise, jobless claims Thursday also one to watch.

@jamesmagg - the month of March historically is the month the pi's get taken out, any sniff of weakness and someone will find something to start the contagion, look at the chart for FTSE 100 for the last 20 years, it dont lie!

@BSR - they may have ordered them before xmas, i do remember ina video conference before xmas Vitaly telling us to say now if we wanted them.

In any case i dont see that as a negative if paper shares are not issued, i see that as all the more reason that POLY will have to find a solution for all UK holders, what they might do is run an in house share register like EVARZ, i would be very happy with that even if that meant we had to go under suspension till the war is over.
