@maxi - low ball bid and now the chancer bid, i think 3 bites of the cherry are not out of the question here and i dont expect this to get the vote at 3.70, all parties do seem to agree on the take over its just the price. This is DK's chance to get the lot, i feel big changes will come in any case now take over or not and this might be his only realistic chance because the company could be worth a lot more in the near future and it would cost him even more going forward. Im sure he knows this and wouldnt be chucking his money into declining investment, automation is going to do a lot of people out of jobs in the next 10-20 years. £12 an hour on a moaning postie or 50p hour on a non-argumentative robot? ;-)

Institutional holders will be key to whether this gets the vote imo, weren't the saudis in knee deep with shares at one point? Ive not kept up with the ii's and ownership but us PI's wont get much say thats for sure vote or no vote, my heart says this should go for more and if this gets rebuffed quickly by major ii's theres a chance for another bid before the new deadline, it could also even get extended again. the first bid was just a hello im here, this second bid is getting warmer but i dont think will get the win, i do see DK getting his way though so hes being pushed harder to dig deeper imo.

think back to his buying price over the last couple of years sub £2 he was backing up the truck so if has to pay £4 a share for 70% remaining he still getting the company in the 3-£3.50 average bracket, he could easily double his money from there with the next 10 years looking like a strong bull market going forwards.

Still room for negotiations at that price £3.70 imo, ii's will be the ones calling the yes/no, a quick rebuff is what we want from here and let DK off and have another think.

I see the deal getting done at some point and price but what that end price will be is anyones guess now...

@Maxi - yes it was just referring to the SP in coming days, not the end game, i dont see this TO for anything less than high £3s and even possibly into £4s. RM property value must be worth a fortune on its own let alone the business model and network\locations.

@Oligrach - hope your well, you get these disclosures when take over wheels are turning, if nothing else it confirms this, those disclosures have already affected the SP by the time you read them so dont panic. The last thing you want to do when youve been in here so long is just snatch at it, £3+ is on the cards imo, patience will make the big money here..

King K wants the whole group and has done for so long, hes not going to give up that easily look how long hes been stake building, to get rebuffed at £3.20 means another bid will be forth coming, the way the RNS is worded they are not saying no they are inviting a better offer and Kretinsky have said they will remain in talks going forward regardless of the rebuff.

Also, dont forget what ever the offer is even if they agree it has to be agreed by the majority shareholders and put to vote, so if the majority are\will not be happy with another derisory offer it means King K will have to dig deeper to try to pursued those to say yes.

Its a game and something a lot of us have been waiting a long time for knowing it was coming, we are the start of new bull market which take many years to come around again, none of us are getting any younger and i am sure King K has this in mind as well, the time is right for this to play out in full imo and i can honestly see Kretinsky going for it this time, somewhere in the high £3s might get the win, lets see...

If Kretinsky is going to strike hes going to do it from a point of weakness, when rates start to drop this and the wider market will head north so now is the time to strike imo, if nothing else develops regarding the bid at least the sell off has been stopped. When the King K sticks his hand in his pocket just as did at £1.90 its normally a good sign of trend change.

@Cureboy - well spotted, i think the W and reverse H&S are pretty much the same pattern and often imperfect so can be hard to see, this move is gaining momentum thats for sure and should continue for sometime, looks to me like £10+ minimum if it plays out, these long time frame big reversal patterns are the most reliable. Its no coincidence that the S&R levels are near on perfect. target area in red circle

@Boyo - from my experience these 'angled' support and resistance lines are always weak, infact so weak i dont even look at them now, your better to look horizontally up and down for areas where there are pockets of buyers\sellers, it can easily be seen by tightly grouped candles where the price will run into a supply or distribution zone.

Think of these areas like bus stops where a lot of people get on and off, 680 and 780 area's are the next two big stops

@Isleworth - thank you for that, i had it my head it was around this date previous announcements came, havent bothered to go back and find out where i got it from, research gets a bit laborious as it is without my grey matter letting me down.

On a very positive note, when the algo starts the day witha big shake down you know its only heading in one direction, and about time to :-)

I will have to go back and reread that last RNS and other news, i got the impression news was due about a dividend before xmas, probably just me and am wrong then. RM wont pay any divi as stated before return to profit, GLS have stated modest at year end, not sure where i got the impression of xmas divi news expectation from.

Shark - i would like to point out something, EVRI have been sucking up online orders with parcels being sent from £2.21, stealing all those 2.99 small parcel options from RM, whilst i dont see this making a material difference short term there is definitely room for improvement, EVRI could be running a loss leader campaign to gain market share.

I think we will see divi rns at any moment, that is a smoke screen with broker re-rating i am sure, give it 48hrs and we will see.

Just remember where in the queue us peasants are, we will be the very last to be informed, its going to be good, but just how good....? 3p+ PS?

I only see this in an upwards trajectory for now, divi reinstatement, means more institutions buying back in, will make the SP rise which will then gain momentum and get us a promotion back into the premier league, that will then cause more buying once we regain our 5 stars. Lots to look forwards to sand thats just RM, GLS or Kretinsky could a rabbit out of the hat at any point. Fingers crossed, follow the money ))

@isleworth - my prediction is not based on results but based on the market undervaluing the company under the 'no dividend' umbrella, the market should wake up to IDS once divi's are reinstated. Whether the spike holds is anyones guess but good results in feb 24 could see it much higher than £3, you have to remember we are right at the start of a big recovery, the biggest moves are nearly always made in this period. thats failing no more black swan events or skeletons from the closet!
