There’s not a lot anyone can do to help the Ukrainian people apart from keep them supplied with weapons, food and medicine. I’ve tried to stay away from the news today but it’s nigh in impossible. I went for 9 holes of golf this afternoon and sat chatting to some people which was great so didn’t get back home until 6:30. The one common view that the people that I spoke to, all had the same views as 99% of this board on what’s happening in Ukraine.

Can I assume that the most exciting thing that happened on here today was the after hours UT. Why the sudden jump, are there any theories?

Good morning from sunny Norfolk. Another bad night for the Ukrainian people to endure I just hope that the peace talks hopefully being held today will be successful and that a ceasefire can be agreed upon. Everyone on this board has been so supportive of them it’s heartwarming to read the comments of some.

It would be nice to see a bit of a bounce back towards a share price recovery if there are peace talks but as Ian alluded to in his post these are dangerous times and no one knows what Putin will do. I remain positive that EUA will come out of this ok and in a few weeks things will settle down again.

Tilly, thanks for sharing the Fitch report. If that hasn’t brought EUA to the attention of more of the big money boys nothing will.

It just goes to show how much EUA will be part of the future supply of PGMs and the value that’s still sat there waiting to be dug up. I know the world is in a bad place at this time but Fitch have given everyone a glimpse of the future which for us as shareholders is very positive.

We as a country have sent anti tank missiles to the Ukrainians so your question may get answered very soon (I won’t say shortly) AgentB. Time is also running out for the really heavy stuff out there as the temperature is slowly rising and the ground will start to thaw making it more difficult for some of the to get about (my opinion)

As an aside it’s bloody awful that everyone here is so far underwater after all of the good news and reassurance by the bod. All of us are down but we’re certainly not out. There will be those that come on here today to tell us we’re all doomed and that they warned us ages ago and take great delight at our situation. Those people are low life’s but unfortunately there’s nothing any of us can do about them. Try to keep a sense of proportion if you can, our PGMs are still there and so are UBS, Piper, our bod and all of the other professionals working away on our behalf. It’s not over till the fat lady sings and she hasn’t even started warming up yet.

Good morning to everyone I hope that you got some decent rest last night. It would appear that Putin is intent on taking the whole of the Ukraine and not just the two break away areas. There’s no easy answer to the problem except peace talks and they are a couple of days off. There isn’t anything that I can say which someone on this board hasn’t said about what is happening. I’ll only say that it’s sad to see the loss of life out there and respect to the Ukrainian people.

I had really hoped that this morning we’d see an RNS from the bod giving us some decent news, you never know the market isn’t even open yet perhaps we could still get something. Have a good day everyone.

frutsels, I agree. With my very limited view it looks like the buys are outstripping the sells, so the MMs are presumably holding the sp down for their own reasons.

Come on bod release a nice little RNS which will have two very positive effects;

1. The sp will start climbing
2. It will get rid of some of the fools from this board
