Morning Sax, I hope all is well with you. With all of the different reports being given it’s hard to say whether both sides actually want peace at times. I just hope that those charged with getting the peace process sorted manage to keep cool heads and find that there is actually a way forward.

I hope that the bod can issue some kind of news that’s not only positive as reassurance but also something that will get the buyers flooding back instead of traders.

Piper haven’t got to where they are because they employ idiots. The legal brains that they have in their offices will run rings around most things that your average government lawyers can put onto paper. I would say that on something as potentially lucrative as this deal is important to them and they wouldn’t just give it up on a whim. Only my opinion of course but wtfdik.

Kopf, they’d miss out on the tax you pay to have your energy delivered to your house. The tax they levy on the business etc.

Why, if this country is so serious about saving the planet are we not investing loads of money into improving the efficiency of Solar panels and other related things. The easy answer is they need your taxes. They don’t want us being independent of the state. Just saying.

Sax, good morning mate I hope all is well with you. It would be nice to get some news that’s positive and push up into double figures again. However I honestly can’t see it happening until there’s some sort of progress on peace talks. Hopefully I’ll be proved to be wrong on that.

Tilly, that a brilliant tip, I’d be able to convince her that she’s got Covid and has lost her sense of smell, which means she’s got to self isolate and I get to go to the pub by myself :-)

Eryryss, thanks for the tips on wood burners I didn’t know that about them. So a second hand one for starters (the good lady will accuse me of being a tight wad). Any other tips because it will be one of my many purchases (assuming I don’t move houses) when this little baby matures.

Hi Wolfie, I hope you’re well. I’m certainly hoping that it doesn’t. If a saw Piper/UBS walk away I would be chomping at the bit to off load some of my holding. I’m one of the very fortunate ones on here who still has many shares in the blue for which I’m very thankful. I of course have plenty of shares that I bought at the bargain price of 23p :-) I’m quietly confident on what I’ve got and where the company are, I’ve never sold any and unless my life changes in the short term I won’t be selling any. And before anyone tries to make a meal out of its ok for you LTHs etc etc. remember I’ve got many shares that are up there in the twenties too so I’m feeling the same hurt. These are very unusual times that we’ve found ourselves in as investors and unfortunately for all of us we can only try to ride out the storm.
