Why do Some people come on these boards and behave in such a way.?

What do they think they can possibly achieve..?

Affect the share price of a company valued at £100 plus billion...?..

So on to the strategy. I think it must be difficult to know which horse to back as some of the new technologies are in their infancy stages.

Yes of course they will keep producing oil and gas for decades but what besides that..?

Are they leaning more to solar, wind, hydrogen, chemicals or power or retail, distribution.

In Germany they are opening LNG garages for vehicles and this alone if translated worldwide would takes decades.....

I guess for now it’s many fingers in many pies. Keep the Gas coming, slowly reduce the oil and look for the new green future that brings the best bang for our bucks. We should also be able to buy a few a stranded assets on the cheap. Total for instance got an amazing deal from Tullow.....

What ever the future brings I personally think Shell has great leadership (100% dividend reduction as example) and as good a chance of anyone to make the future a success.

I think Shell and BP has the correct strategy going forward as we move from fossil URL’s to green over the coming decades...

Shell are a massive company with brilliant stategist, scientist and are active in 100s of countries....,

One thing for me is certain.....

Interesting that Shell are now looking to partner technology experts to help then achieve their 2050 goal.

Of interest to a few may be the podcast that Shell release every month. Talks about a number of things but clearly shows Shell are looking at almost every option going forward to remain profitable whilst achieving their goal.

One of the facts in the podcast is that over 800 million people do not have access to electricity in the world so whilst we move on to the Zero emotions gaol parts of the world hasn't even got the basics yet. In my view this is where Shells gas strategy could pay dividends if they can offset the emissions....

Well a reasonable day for Shell and a decent OP rise as well.

One reason why Shell is so difficult to price for everynoe as very few peopleknw exactly what Shell is going to be.

How much of a power company.
How much of an oil producer
How much of a gas producer
How much of a Chemical producer.
How much selling fuel etc.
How much wind farms will they invest in.
How much hydrogen to they get involved in.
How much technology plays (aka Microsoft) will they be involved in.
Tje list goes on and on......

So until its all revealed by Shell we are all pretty clueless......

One thing is for sure Shell has a lot of firepower, technology and scientist available.

In no way can you even mention the 2 companies in the same way.

To me Hurricane is a very very risky mainly one play gamble.

Good luck with it though.....

Shell in the future will have many strings to its bow.

It’s buying new oil and gas businesses and also energy companies, chemicals, wind, scientific etc etc....

They seen to have gutted their old house and are slowly replanting their new one.

Times change and so do business but personally I’m very very confident that Shell are long term doing the right thing and looking to model the business around the green technologies the world needs whilst balancing this against the current needs of the world requiring oil......

Why is he buying into Tullow now.

Whats his track record.....
