The Ex Dividend date seems to have come and gone without much damage to us.

The presentation looked very good at the last update and all the news coming out is the Shell are on their transition journey.

I’m a believer in Shell going much higher over the long term and would hope to start this journey as the vaccine roll out starts.

It’s a mixed Out there at the moment.....

Good news China and Japan 2nd and 3rd biggest economies in the world going great guns.

Bad news USA and Europe going backwards, vehicle useage down by 50%.

It’s a strange world when parts of the world can crack this and we are getting worse and worse every day.

Truth is oil could be anywhere from 30$ to 100$ next year we just don't know.

The world is very unstable and this year shows us how little we know for certain.

My 60$ is only slightly higher than GS and a few others.

What could bring us 60$ oil......

Successful Vaccine
Biden banning state owned land fracking
Opec deal extended
Trade deal China/ISA
Successful Brexit
Shale production lower
Lack of investment over last few years in oil
Majors transitioning away from oil
Massively increased consumption due to pent up demand being released.

On the other hand....LOL

I assume most of our current spend if Ten and Jubillee...

I wonder if Raul might consider any asset swaps.

Assuming we get back to a normal world I really really cannot see how Tullow can be at this price and indeed I would expect 50p plus.....given 60$ oil...

Ten: Hopefully found a fix for problems there and some good news.

Jubilee: What is Ntomme bringing? May be plenty more to drill to increase production including starting drilling Jubilee South-East

Guyana: Jethro 1 and Joe 1 and Carapa already discoveries….

Suriname: GVN1 to be drilled in January.

Gabon: there are near term developments at Simba, Ruche, Ezanga and Tchatamba south

Equatorial New guinea: Okume and Ceiba next development phase matured

Cote d’Iviore: Espoir next development stage matured.

Kenya: Lots of oil and with a slower production cost a farm in could be very valuable. Long term project

Ghana: plenty to do there.

Then you have potential fields Guyuna, Peru, Argentina, Namabia and others I have forgotten…..

The Kenya contracts are hidden Tullow was willing to publish but Kenya Government said no Siting Its a fledgling industry and other companies are on different agreements Dolenx are also in Kenya...... Clutching at straws here . I was interested to read as I wanted to find the definition of First Oil given the fact that we have truck loaded and exported Oil.

Is it classed as Commercial? Production from a certain Area That can give rise to some cost recovery. The other thought was once Tullow get approval of costs could they sell that on if required? Could private equity pay Tullow money at a premium in Lieu of collection later if needed . With circa $2 billion on the horizon for the partners any thoughts?
