So we should get our 500$ million dollars and whilst I’d love it to put a rocket under us based on the current behaviour of the market I can’t see anything but a smallish rise.

What it will do is make us more investable long term and buy us incredibly valuable time.

For me the CMD is the event that sets our company on the future path.

Hopefully we are now turning the corner now with the following helping to increase oil prices in the coming months:
Oil production decreasing in USA
OPEC extension of deal.
Many majors starting to leave oil and go green/renewable.
Covid 19 vaccine arrival.
Huge boost in daily oil use through shipping and flight pent up demand.
Global drawdown of surplus oil.

You have the fact that he will be stopping Shale wells on Government land. This should help keep production at a happy medium and contribute to sensible world production numbers.

Also , he is likely to support worldwide peace and prosperity including Iran, China, Europe which should be good for all mankind.

So, with Vaccines due in December, oil production restrained due to lack of investment over the few years Pent up demand including flights and cruises we could all be in for a brighter future.

Low cost producers like Tulow should hopefully do well in a higher price world which most producer want.....

To be honest Shell is so huge know ones knows where they will spend their big bucks in 5 years but for now they continue to make both conventional oil and gas decisions and many green/renewable decisions. So the SP could do anything.

What we do know is they throw off cash in most environments and seem to be a step ahead of other oilers in the renewable future

They are very set on big is beautiful in terms of refinery and siting them where they are the most profitable. With a much clearer strategy there is much to be excited about and dont forget they have some of the best deep water acreage in the world. They can also poach or be predators in deals such as Deltic Energy which was updated yesterday.

The long and short of this is that Shell has been profitable when most other companies either loss or made very little money.

We also We also know that the major countries of the world cannot continue to produce oil at this price and balance their books, so when things get back to normal say 2022 oil is expected to be between 60-70$ a barrel. Could be more given that Shale production is dropping every month and is a busted flush at low prices.

So logically if we get back to "normal" where could Shells SP be in 2022.......

Our time will come soon enough and with the vaccine getting closer and closer every day, Biden against Shale on Government land and a Green, and a worldwide economy which is very very pent up......Well I could think of worse shares to be in......

You completely missed my point. Tullow in my opinion is a great share and as I said Im heavily in it.

However it is not a share to be involved in if you are nervous or anxious or over leveraged in.

The other poster mentioned they were "kinda scared". Would you agree this is not a share to be involved in if you get kinda scared.

I also don't think I ever ever made a single negative post about Tullow.....

We all know Tullow is a gamble as all shares are and is definitely not out of the woods yet. If oil pushes on to 60$ plus we could hit £1 within 24 months in my opinion. If no vaccine and oil plummets we are looking a very different story.

Some kind of recognition of my post and its aim to be supportive and thoughtful to a nervous poster would be appreciated.

Im heavily into Tullow but there are many many less risky stocks out there, like. RDSB.
If you have money and can afford to risk losing a it or potentially doubling + then get some Tullow.

But don't do it if you worry about stocks.....

I did use some spare time in looking at the production numbers again. I do guess now, that production numbers in 7 october days at jubilee were 94 200 bopd and at TEN 52 500 bopd.I assume that TEN did produce at least around 50 000 bopd in october as the daily avg for the whole sept was 50 000. so the recorded production numbers are more likely to be 7 than 8 days, because otherwise TEN would have only produced 45 800 bopd which is very unlikely.also assuming jubilee numbers were released at the same time! 660 000/7= 94 200 bopd. 660 000/8= 82 500 bopd are very unrealistic giving more gas offtake plus flaring plus higher water injection. why would it Fall 10 000bbls/day.just my opinion... if thats true we will be over our production guidance! lower production in sept would fit to 2-3days off time. Maybe CALM buyo works.

Over the mid to long term with Tullow…..

However, we have some very hard times to face and when most of the world locks down we could easily hit 30$ oil short term.

However, the mid and long term future next year and beyond looks great for Tullow and much much brighter.

The vaccines will be with us very soon and that is the beginning of things getting better.
Biden is not supportive of Shale so with less USA production that will help the oil price.
The dollar looks weak going forward which will help oil prices.
Next year all stock markets will go nuts as pent up demand is seen following this awful year.
Opec know what good for them so they wont fool around anymore.

Out of interest from January they are trialling a walk through which can identify Covid 19 with no test necessary. If that is a goer travel will rocket and the world can unlock everything…..….
