Its been soul destroying here with the unnecessary ramping and deramping but this board should hopefully improve now.

No idea where we will end up today but guess I would be happy over 20p.

Long term where could we go....Well in my opinion with Covid defeated and oil back at 60$ we could hit £1 in the next 2 years.

Natural gas has nearly doubled since July. I wonder how this will affect Shells bottom line.

I hold a lot of Tullow but want to try and refrain from to much excitement. Need nearly 30p to break even and very confident we will get there but not sure how quick.

I don’t expect RNS for a couple of day but who knows but hopefully speculation will take us over 20p in a few days. Don’t forget even that is a 30% rise and if money was that easy to make everyone would do it.

CMD should be very very interesting but whatever that brings is still high risk until oil kicks off.

No doubt it about it our key is higher oil prices.... Nearly everything points to them going higher but not until we get this vaccine going.

I’m very very confident that they will be issuing the vaccine by mid December so I certainly see a Santa run this year.

If we get between 30p and 40p by Year end and oil at 50$ I will be a happy person.....

Looks like the first team with the vaccine will be ready for FDA late November according to their CEO so whilst tragically sad at least things are moving posatively.

I think that as soon as the vaccine starts becoming available things will pick up, no big bang but a slow steady rise.

The its what is Shells future... A mixture of many things I think...Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Renewables, Power, to name a few.

The question will be how much to invest in different projects and how much will be profit or returned in buy backs or dividends.

Interesting times for sure.............

So Ive managed to buy at 30p so a long way back but hopefully will get there.
This payment will help to move it closer to that and oil should also start to push on now especially when they start to through around the vaccines.

The CMD will be crucial in showing us the way forward and some confidence that Tullow can become great again. Its a bloody big ask with all our debt but in a back to normal world Im very confident we can make it.

I expect we might have some kind of fund raise next year or perhaps the asset sale might be enough. We have lots of drilling to do and need cash now....

If oil can hit 60$ next year can Tullow hit £1 in 12 months ???

No way is RDSB goosed at all.

For a start they produce a huge amount of gas which is doing well, 2nd their deep water wells are known as so of the cheapest to produce from amount the majors.

Then you have the numerous other strings to their bow.....

Nothing is certain but Im certain I would rather be in RDSB then a lot of other oilers including BP

I actually think the american election is very vey important to Shell.

If Biden wins and barring any disasters coming I think its quite likely I think the whole pace of the worldwide green movement will increase quickly. This when you compare Shell with the other oil majors must put us at an advantage.

I think the threat of shale is likely gone forever. It is only profitable at scale so there will continue to be lots of consolidation. Also the production only increased due to having to do this to repay debt. None of which was ever sustainable...Im not saying its going away but I think many fields won't come back due to production cost and oil price. It will be managed better when consolidated and all of that is before we consider the flaring issue.

Finally more and more pension funds, ethical groups and the Greta gang are moving away from big oil companies. So getting into the future now might not be to bad an idea.

My first bit of advice is to take everything on here with a large pinch of salt. Everyone of us has an agenda. Most of us to see the price increase but others the opposite.

I dont see Shell doing anything much short term until at least this Covid has settled down. Not saying they might not hit £11,£12,£13 but not much higher than that.

Long term (over a year away) as oil and gas rises and their strategy comes to life they could get back to their glory days over £20.......

The future is brand new to everybody, Wind, Wave, Hydrogen, Lithium, Geothermals, Battery, Nuclear. Blimey there might even be gas in it if they can neutralise the methane that comes with it.

Who knows....Enjoy the rise.....
