Interestingly Petrofac are already doing lots of decommissioning projects including working with Hess and Tullow.

The is a train of thoughts that some companies and countries won’t work with PFC due to the SFO.....Personally I don’t think any of them cares if the price is right and the job is good....

So Sami joined Petrofact well after the SFO noise had started.......

He started as deputy Chief Executive so its was already in the starts that our CEO was leaving and he was being groomed for this position.

He is a real class act and has held very very powerful roles in some of the biggest name is the business BG, Shell, Schlumberger for over 30 years......

So heres the question......Why would an extremely successful person join PFC if he wasnt certain he was joining a winning company....

On holiday for just doing some research.

So our former CEO worked for the company since 1991 and actually bought the company in 2001. He listed it on the stock market in 2005.

He is 62 and has retired to spend more time with his family and work on his charitable interest. He is a billionaire....

And most importantly he still hold 19% of the shares of the company and hasnt sold any........!!!!

You would have to say that based on all the new contracts Petrofac have won in the last few days a lot of people are putting their trust in this company for many years to come.

Ive never understood shorters and never will be I am suprised they are still continuing to hold now...Surely its vey risky....

100% agree.....

Lots of positive stuff flushing through PFC and the wider commodity world at present....

Normally I would treat any post with such a rise as bonkers...

However he’s why Laidback could be completely correct...

2 weeks ago we were £1.70 and slowly rising.

A favourable outcomes takes us back there plus with the oil price rise and positivity (Lockdown, holidays, stimulus package, jabs success, new contracts etc)

£2.00 could be very cheap for PFC....

Is it time to buy.....

In my opinion it’s a limited downside and a huge upside, that’s why I’m in.....

I doubt that any word is leaking out. The decision will be the judges and I doubt anyone except him knows his decision at this point..

All oil services companies are rising and oil companies so PFC is rising in parallel with these....albeit from a much lower point.

I think its about future useage when we come out of this when their will be massive massive increase in the use of oil, general useage, cruise ships, planes etc etc.

On top of that all oil companies cut back massively on exploration and development last year so we could very quickly have a situation with more useage than production....

Finally you have the green factor where many majors are turning from oil and cutting down on their expenditures. You also have a huge decrease in exploration which is the most costly part.

All in my opinion....What do I know ??

Thats a big big fall......And allows for a hell of a rise.....

Cant see any reason why we shouldn't continue a little upward movement today.....

This in my opinion could double when the SFO finish their investigation if there is minimal or no fine for PFC.

A big fine will of course take us down a bit and a couple of hundred million may be priced in.

Shorters will be aware of huge contracts such as the BP one that PFC are likely to be a part of and also the massive increase in infrastructure needed for new oil, gas and renewable projects....

Its a good time to be in PFC in my opinion......
