The US prosecutors alleged in a legal document published last month that 27 firms around the world conspired with Unaoil to corrupt officials in specified countries.

Only two of these firms are named in the legal document as they have admitted paying bribes with Unaoil. The others are given cyphers. However, Petrofac has been identified as being one of the firms by the Guardian from separate sources.

Petrofac has previously disclosed that it hired Unaoil for “the provision of local consultancy services primarily in Kazakhstan between 2002 and 2009”

“These projects were crucial to the reconstruction of the Iraqi oil sector and the future prosperity of the fledgling state’s economy. Bond and his co-conspirators knew this and yet corrupted the tender process for financial gain.

“We are proud to have ensured the four men will be punished for their pernicious crimes, and will continue to relentlessly pursue such cases across the globe.”

I think She’ll will be a in a much much better place going forward.

They made profit even in the year from hell and now with Gas at 3$ oil at over 60$ they should be raking it in. Their assets are top quartile and they are the largest LNG trader in the world....

On top of this you have multiple other divisions all expanding which are doing well and should set them up for a great future....Power, Chemicals, Retail, Renewables. These include a number of electric networks, battery charging stations, providers etc etc...plus much much more....

If we get the talked about Super Cycle this year and continue to defeat COVID I think £20 year end is not unrealistic.......

Another day of us Ramper telling you how amazing PFC is and another day of the Negs telling you the SFO will destroy us and we are domed...

Look at the facts of where we are, what the company is doing, the wider economic world and place your bets one way or another....

My realities are Petrofac is undervalued currently, the SFO case seems to be possibly withering, we are winning lots of orders, there is possible a commodity super cycle coming, Biden is launching the largest trillion plus dollar stimulus in history and with COVID behind us a decent stock market rise is likely as the world goes to it new normal......

Any thoughts....?

Personally as time goes by I’m less and less convinced that there will be an major sanctions against. Petrofac by SFO....

I look at Petrofac as being recognised as a first class worldwide provider of oil services at a time of massive worldwide expansion in the services they provide....
