Actually, I think we are in a great place compared to most major oilers.....We currently have Green businesses which are established and profitable....will we have to pump hundreds of billions in over the coming decades....Yes.....Is it the way forward....Yes....

So BP make surplus cash at anything over 45$ a barrel.

Oil has been approx 65$ a barrel this quarter so that 20$ for every barrel free cash flow.

Of that 60% will be going back to us vis Buybacks......That’s a lot of cash....

I guess the question is how much oil and gas are we producing per day....

So which is the best value at present ?

For me I have a nice comfortable fence and can't seen much different so hold both although its about 60% BP 40% Shell.

Each one has amazing fields and projects but Shell have much much more gas which may become the preferred fuel prior to being completely green. They are also centralising their assets which I like as well. Green wise who know which projects will work out and which will fall in the future....

Heres a thought....20 years from now will petrol stations exist in towns ????......NO I don't think so......Just charging points in service stations but if batteries continue to improve they may not exist as all.
