Amazing technology and it would seem China well ahead of us.

The future will be completely different and none of us know yet what it will look like.

Would love to be here to see this shining future in 2050 but sadly to old......

On the up side hopefully a good few years yet with amazing companies like Shell, BP and many others.....

It’s a very strange time we live in.

Oil producers were literally paying people to take their product away last year and a year later……A global shortage…..You couldn’t make it up.

For me I only see BP and other oilers going up and up from here as really the recovery hasn’t really licked off yet. To be honest not many saw the “Green world” happening so quickly and now many major funds are not buying oil companies and big organizations not keen on lending them.

Investment at record low, reserves at a record low and consumption nearing an all time high……Its can only lead to one thing…..Higher oil prices.

Many oil companies who don’t have big pockets are going to have to think what product they will sell in the future or sell oil with carbon captures. It is completely turning the organization upside down in the coming years…..

The problems for BP and Shell is technologies are moving so fast no one knows what will be needed in the future and what will be a waste of money…..What colour Hydrogen (if any) and will BP massive investment in EV charging stations and coffees work out. Certainly very expensive to build.

So to sum up……I don’t think there has ever been a better time to own BP and that will be the same for at least 2 years. After that….Well its anyones guess...

Re the dividend the policy is at present very clear. However.......

Nobody anywhere in the world saw oil at this price and that brings with it a shed load of unexpected cash pressure from pension funds and large holders .

So whilst the current policy is clear I could easily see a small rise in the dividend as well as the other plans being carried forward......

Looks like it might be 5 out of 5 for rises....Happy Daze
