Very strange that are trading arm seems to have had other shocker. Two in a row now....Wonder why ?

Just listened to a Podcast about Climate change and the damage its doing in places like Bangladesh. Here when the storms strike over 25% of the country is under water and more and more people are being forced to the cities.

I get this is mainly caused by rich and powerful countries doing the damage but the flooding issues is a worldwide problem.

Many many countries can never balance their books so I can't possibly see they they can transform much at all by 2050. I guess the USAs, Europe and possibly China but is that enough to come to the party.

So in Conclusion I don't think we can hit this 2050 target.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks for response. Not sure I agree with the “slight reality check” and agree that most of the points are the same for most oilers. On the other points you raise I think we see things differently which is very healthy….

So all things being equal we should do ok long term....

But be aware...."Its want we don't know that get us"

Shell cost could be as high as 9 billion dollars and to be fair with gas where it is it could be a different story now....Be nice to hear something in the results.....

Don't think there will be any pop but am confident Shell will continue to rise higher in the near term

They are doing fantastic business at the moment with oil and gas at record highs for the past few years. Their trading arm is also due for a gangbuster quarter.....

Personally think a deal will be done to keep UAE back on side.

One thing to think about is that demand will almost certainly rise over the coming months and their are various rumours that SA and Russia can't actually produce a great deal more than they presently do....
