Can’t post link as on my phone…
Harbour having a great day today… in comparison.
Could bode well for when the markets get a bit happier.
I don’t see tomorrow being to exciting.
Zama moving closer to FID.
Production in line with expectations.
Andanam drilling ahead as planned.
Debt a few hundred million (excluding new)
Green stuff moving forward.
Making progress on merger.
Anybody see much else?
I think we got 3 (including Wintershall Dea).
https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/north-sea/545671/norway-apa-2023-oil-and-gas-licences/
I wonder if we got in on the action.....
Norway on Tuesday awarded stakes in 62 offshore oil and gas exploration licences to 24 energy companies in its annual licensing round, including in the Arctic Barents Sea, the country's energy minister said.
The annual award jumped from 47 licences one year ago when 25 firms received permits.
So apart from a decent volume today and a good rise we have no idea what caused it still.
Could be just the trading update due I guess??
Also Harbour have given themselves a very long time to get this deal done. I wonderful if they have been overly generous with this and will get it completed in Q3?
cant see it being ***o which was spudded on 31st december anbd the drill time is estimated at 78 days.
think its more likely to have been started by big buyer and then lots of others fomo due to trading update on thursday.
the huge huge thing i come back to and the reason why i bought a truck load is harbour are issuing 921 million shares to wintershall dea at a value of £3.68 each. why would wintershall have ever agreed to that unless they were more than 100% convinced that harbour shares were worth much much more than that to allow then a good profit to exit at a convenient time ....
add to this the massive amount of due diligence done by numerous banks over this 11$ billion deal....and the rest should be history....
Trading Update?
Mexico ?
Norway ?
Andaman ?
Deal Progress?
Anything else ?
Hi Nitro,
Firstly we have a trading update coming soon and you would hope that would move us up just a little.
Secondly if the deal with Wintershall Dea is as good as we are lead to believe why sell now.
Thirdly the shares were quite a bit higher last month so why not sell then.
Who knows?…..But doesn’t make that much sense to me but WTFDIK…..
Very very strange timing…..
Im sorry, I don't understand. Whats the update?
This is what we knew before....

What makes you say that Koko?
Who knows Rookie, it’s all just speculation.
But if they can claim to be out of the oil business directly which would be true and the oil and gas price means there is good profit why would they leave their shares in situ for a year or two.
We need to remember that they are locked in for 6 months as well which is a slight safeguard.
I wonder if Harbour will go hammer and tonges at the buy backs when this is all agreed to help with an orderly exit?…
