I know there has been a lot of talk about whether Hydrogen would or wouldn't have a major place in the future but based on what Im hearing its going to have a huge start. Again this could be a master stroke for Shell with first mover advantage.....

Looks like a cooling off day today which was always expected.

What is suprising is oil back on the rise again over 84$ a barrel.

Be very interesting to see where our government goes with this crisis. It looks like they are playing Dodgems at the moment and crashing into everything.....

Im not usually one for the £20 next week £25 by Christmas stuff but I do think we will continue our gallop for a while at least until our results.

One of the brokers said that at current prices Shell makes ...A WALL OF CASH...I like that.

I think Shell will do whatever they can to play down the figures to avoid some kind of windfall tax but I expect the following obvious things:

Debt down
Increase Dividend
Increase Buy Back
Further Green investments announcements

For me Shell is the right company to be in at the right time.....Can I see the £20 this year...Its only about 18%ish from here so why not .........

Up 20% since 10th September so not to Shabby......

This was in the The Times today....

"It is understood Shell sells about 70 per cent of its LNG cargoes linked to oil prices, which are high but have not seen the same extreme pricing as gas.

Although that leaves it with exposure to spot prices for gas, analysts have warned that it may also be negatively affected by unexpected shutdowns at several of its LNG production plants, leaving it having to buy gas cargoes at high prices in the open market to replace the missing production volumes in order to honour supply contracts."

Now thats a grim subject some of us may face come April.....

Isnt it hard to do nothing at present with your Shell shares. Im sure the sensible people would say sell a few in decent profit but based on the current situation I think there is further to rise.

Firstly Shell is heavily into Gas which is seen as the go between oil and Green energies. Gas is also a ridiculous high price.

Then there is the various Green energies that Shell has bought into or are organic which all look sold it me. There is also the 9.5 Billion which they need to find a home for.

I strongly believe shell has world class management and took decisive action at the right time during the pandemic.

However the most important reason is the almost complete lack of invesment in Exploration in oil and gas for the last few year. That is a massive problems for the world.

So given all of the above what should you do with your Shell shares.....Despite how hard it is it might be worth Doing Nothing......

Imagine being frightened, poor, cold and hungry.
What happens in a once in every 25 year British winter with a 2ft blanket of snow covering the UK and much more snow in some areas from the Midlands up.
What happens when the snowfall is followed by a 4 to 6 week weather system high over the UK and temperatures are averaging -3 degree during the day and -10 at night and no wind to speak of.
What happens to all the electric ambulances, fire engines, snowploughs, lorries, trains, buses and cars trying to operate under these conditions.
How do we heat hospitals, schools, offices, factories, shops , warehouses, supermarkets and millions of homes with electric elements which are bigger versions of the elements you find in your kettle.
Imagine the chaos and panic as everyone suffers from no heating and power blackouts and tens of thousands of people dying because of the cold, no food and no access to health care.
All because of a new religion created by the Green Taliban aka Greta the goblin of doom and Extinction Rebellion and a bunch of clown politicians.
The problem is we will be taken down a dead end road doing immense damage to our wealth and freedoms (while we look at the rest of the world with their cheaper energy, warm homes, personal transport and lovely holidays in other countries) until we finally come to our senses. By which time the UK will resemble a cold wet version of Cuba.
