No I beleive it to high and not good for us ultimately.

It could lead to high inflation which in turn could lead to a recession which would reduced demand massively and with it price destruction.

A high price is good for us like oil around 70$ but much above that has it dangers. Not sure what a good gas price is for us. May be 4$ per unit.??

Shell seem to be all over Hydrogen already. In fact all of their renewable projects seem to be very well thought out and many are organic which saves a fortune buying companies….

Never studied closely the difference in market cap of BP and Shell before.

Shell is almost twice the size and had a much bigger free cash flow in the last quarter.

Shell 9.7$ Billion
BP 3.0$ Billion.

Net Debt
Shell 65.7$ Billion
BP 32.7$ Billion.

Gearing
Shell 27.7%
BP 26%.

I think Shell will have a great future based on whats going on currently....

There are stories around that they couldn’t raise production much in current circumstances but who knows.

I wonder does anybody know when Shells best ever quarterly results were. I’m certainly expecting them to do very very well Q3.

The important question for me is how will they spend all their cash which could be over 12$ with Permian sale.

Be nice to see a really decent asset bought, which I assume would be renewable. Push up the dividend and then Chuck in a few Buy backs.

Certainly Septembers been a good month for us and that’s is traditionally a bad month. Here’s to October…….

Just wondered what if people think the current Gas and oil price are bad for Shell.

My thought is yes if it stays where it is for to long it will be very bad for Shell. The logic being it could passively increase inflation which could trash economies which would significantly reduce the amount of oil used each day.

Any thoughts?

Just being Nosey but if we are in an uptrend at the moment and oil and gas prices look supported for now why not buy in now ?

Hi Boyo,

Took 46k in total today. The stars seem to be lining up more and more with oilers and Shell is the best of those to me. Sold out of AAL and BP to fund these both at a decent profit.

So back to Buy backs.....Anybody know where we are with these, as in how much is sspent/left to spend....

Hope our friends on the other board do well with their drilling news due. Such a shame overall such potential overall....
