Tiger.. what about diamonds, what about Q1 report (March/start of April), what about BP source report (upgrading to a much higher mine life, JORC etc) what about clearance of ALL remaining debt in the company, what about BP becoming profitable (Q1 to H1), what about diamond JV in Zim..?
Plenty coming in a short space of time.. debt clearance is massive..
Still the price may reverse, to be honest I thought it would.. but it goes to show that it's good to read things like rns more than once I guess...

Listening to the podcast, glad i did.. AP seems confident on a much higher price than now... and thus have bought more @0.69.. one thing I got from the podcast was that AP thinks that the sale.of diamonds is more than enough to clear current debt + creditors plus to prove up existing assets AND 'other opportunities..' I wonder what the other opportunities are... :)

Tbh, even though I expected a placing, I can't find a positive spin to put on this.. very disappointed..

Sandy, can you give (in you opinion) updates estimates of break even point at Baita... I believe you said costs were around $900k $1million per month if I remember correct..? But I believe that Vast have been and will be conducting a costs cutting exercises, plus external costs have been falling (with exception of labour..)

I would be happy @ 1.5p mick.. but unless further news to cement the price, it may only be a spike... much prefer steady gains on this, and the liquidity in trades to stay strong.. let's say 100-200million shares traded daily.. one can hope..

$400 per carot..? Come on lads, really...? If it is, I'll be extatic..
Judging roughly by Current mcap (not including BP update this month) , market expects around $90-100 per carot or $12million (£10million)... let's say if $400 per carot or $51 million were true, then we wouldn't be at the share price we are at today...
Being a tad more realistic, I would hope the value to be in the $150-200 per carot range, giving vast a tidy lump (around $20million less costs) to clear ALL remaining debt, ensuring no further dilution and get Manaila up and running, then onto JV in Zim... which will surely mean a share price of 2p upwards..
But I'll settle and be happy @ $100 per carot which is probably and realistically a figure Vast is working on, and then push on past 1p..

@Penten11, please keep posting.. and Sandy.. this board needs to see both sides of this coin..I don't mean the incessant bashing, but constructive..
I was looking at the figs last year, could see the ramping up of production, but a few 'bad' decisions systematically destroyed the share price.. Atlas for one (thank god that's over!) And dilution after dilution, I believed that Vast would recover (just..),.kept the faith (just..) and averaged down in December and early January (thankfully..)
For me, this is APs last chance scenario to impress.. a few better or good decisions (which imo will come) will see this rocket, and maybe an offer come in from a bigger miner..
Getting Manaila back up and running either by financing (not dilution) or a JV and finally getting some.of the diamonds out of Zim by a JV (ain't no way Vast can do this alone as costs are huge!!) Plus finally reconfirming available resource at BP and arranging 'more favourable ' financing in a longer term format would relieve the burden on Vast and allow them to then explore the assets they have in more detail, plus look at 'other opportunities' currently on their radar..
What price the share then...? I would think pennies, jot tenths of pennies..

The high Court order is 'expected' in coming few days, this, i guess should be rns'd, then 'This High Court Order should allow for the initiation of a lawful and transparent process for the release of the Historic Parcel into the Company’s possession to be independently cleaned and valued for the purpose of selling via a tender process. The final quality assortment of the Parcel will be determined when the stones are in the Company’s possession and can be independently cleaned and valued.'
This will all take time and will NOT happen overnight! Get possession first, then valued, thats the key here, I'm guessing weeks, not days...

Yeah, this was the fund raise that I was seriously thinking of just chucking the towel in and giving up on vast, more dilution!!
@31st October they had just over £1.5million in the bank.. assuming cash burn rates are dropping in line with ever increasing sales and margins they still must be close to needing more money.. just a question of where..?
Vast has engaged technical contractors to re-profile the mines resources in order to give an updated resource report.. no doubt this is in order to secure new 'more favourable' financing..
Without diamonds there is no question the share price would still be at around 0.2 - 0.25p, but still AP + Co were confident of a transformational 2023.. for me the trust comes with being more transparent with their figures.. H1 profitability @ BP and no further need for mass dilution should see the the share price reset itself without the need for diamonds.. I would love to see the last 3 months ebitda figures between Nov and Jan..

Above is AP talking about 2023 being the year for Vast.. (I know the same was said for 2022, and probably a few year previous..)
AP believes that Vast is the most undervalued co on AIM (again, i know there has been trust issues...) talks in depth on BP about qtrly increases in, Conc production doubled between Q3 and Q4 which shows the trajectory of the mine, and the likelyhood that it will profitable by end of Q1, if not H1...
Continued exploration of the mine, to create a reserve which will then allow Vast to access more favourable debt terms.. (this was before diamonds..) and that 2023 would be the target year to clear all remaining debt in the co. All this, plus a possible Manaila restart at some point coupled with eventual Dividends from Tajikistan would put Vast in a very strong position, and even then there is the cherry on top with the possible re entry into Zim...i know this carries risks, but what does this say abiut the current share price or mcap..? laughable imo.
I have been in here for a while now, averaging down and finally in Profit.. but I am beginning to get exited about the potential on Vast again..

Thank god for you urai... the diamonds will come and go (be sold..) and any monies be put to good use (paying down existing debt or new jv in SA..) but BP has been here in the background all the meanwhile.. and is now ready to begin to post profits.. THIS imo will finally be the transformational turn Vast needs...
Any JV in SA will be months in the making, but compensation talks... pfffft.. doubtful!
