Hey all,
I trust you are all awesome.
Mega busy with work at the moment but thought I'd pop on.
1) Shareflyer - you don't have to work for RR to invest. You need to learn that. That 'armchair' investor (you suggest) may have a few stocks (other than RR), none of which they work within. But alas, they invest based on research. I have no idea how to put a RR engine together, but I know how to invest at a 93p average. Sorry. Not sorry.
2) Share price decline was pinned by Svend, and he/she was spot on (well done sir). I saw your post suggesting a decline due to certain reasons I won't go into here, but you were 100% correct. You guys are lucky to have the likes of Svend here - honest, open and correct information free of charge.
3) Badland - I'm guessing you're still doing the spread betting? My words.... Not for me at this hight mate. I think most of us advised you to invest in physical shares at around 130p? Nothing against you mate, but your constant moaning on the decline is to be understood when you are spread betting at this level.
4) ARE5NAL - nipped into the Nevill Arms last Saturday and had a look for a "4 bed detached" in Medbourne - quite a few to be fair. Might be better to just have that pint I promised you at the Nevill? We could sit by the fire and put the world to rights mate - well, we'd give it a good go! Good food as well! If you're a fish man, I can recommend the Hake. Happy to buy it for you?
5) Back to RR, and with £7 come Feb 8th 2025 on the horizon, here are the maths:
Current 526.20, therefore, compound increase needs to be 9.98% per month.
12 months gave us 114% so were a little short but when we compound it, we're almost spot on.
No more news coming (part from the micro reactors) so at a base level, we're destined to get there.
No new updates from Nettles Blog until the new year due to work but a few stocks I've always recommended have some rather ridiculous news:
