But that's my personally opinion. Why take profit if you don't need it?

I don't need it - hence staying for the £7 figure.

I could spend hours suggesting I was right all the way through these ridiculous notions of top ends, but I won't, as it makes them feel bad, and make me look like a righteous megalomaniac.

I'm neither. I simply stated in 2020 that RR is a £7 share come feb 2025 and I stand by it.

Hell, if I cashed in now, I'll be very happy, but a goal is a goal.

I've been rather busy supporting JTT with his work in Rotherham(of all places) and today in March (rather nice actually - nice fields!).

I've had a quick scan through the posts on here, and I'm not that impressed to be honest. Seems a lot are doing spread betting through IG (maybe?) so are having to bung money in to keep positions open?

Quick question; did you not consider buying actual shares, have a goal in mind, and then sell when it got to that goal?

Is that to simple? Or old hat?

Spreading at £4? Why the hell would you do that?

Anyway, the reality is:

1) In one day, it's down 0.39% (today)

2) In five days, it’s down 0.76%

3) In one month it’s up 3.85%

4) In six months it’s up 92.2%

I'm happy with that - and it's on track for £7 come Feb 2025.

My only advice is stop trying to earn a quick buck. Go long term (like I have - 5 years) and then you won't worry about the drops.

My chap at St James Place constantly shows me graphs of retirement and how much I need to achieve it.

The fact JTT is an artist who will draw till he drops doesn’t seem to hit home (income wise).

Semi-retirement is the way forward for us.

Pick the work you want and earn whilst drawing a decent pension. That’s all I (we) want in life.

Today was a blip. We get them. With the recent rise, the selling of RR staff shares coupled with the defence issues, it’s natural it will go down.

As always, everything is fodder until Feb 2025.

If Moodys upgrade one notch more (and why wouldn’t they, they are clueless and follow the better rating agencies, let alone their own investors pushing for correct ratings - we’ve all seen “The Big Short” right?

CMD clearly states “when we’re comfortably within investment grade, payback to shareholders will commence”.

How comfortable is comfortable…. That be the question captain 👍👍

I hope we’ve all taken time this weekend to understand the true meaning of Easter - that being RR rising from the dead.

Next week should be interesting but for those tracking RYCEY and wondering why it didn’t rise on the Fitch update, the update gives the CFO no barriers to reinstall the Div.

That’s the rise you’ll all be looking for, and that’s the next news we get.

Some smart institutions will pre-empt that and flood in next week, but some will wait for Moodys (which I hate with vengeance!)
