Belgrano: I'm incredibly naive about the ways markets work so this is probably all bollx.

I think it sort went down like this... There was a 10% float... Boom done and dusted but Ashman gave a few percentage more to the general public (which will amount to millions of shares). This part of the float did not not work - hardly any were sold.

Plot thickens.... so my dark plot is this: perhaps the broker took these shares from SBTX at a cheaper rate and are selling them slowly to their clients. When they have finished (and it must be soon) we might see "Hay Presto" a set of accounts....

This is me being naive as I dont know the rules about all this stuff... .

Most like I'm off by miles as 99% of the time I haven't a clue.

What we can safely say now is ZENAKINE is a huge success...

However....

What we still cannot say for certain is do we get double digit royalties OR are there lots of ifs and buts which mean the money will not be as big as we think..

They sell about £150M skin care additives per year. So say max we can get is £15M per year... But Zenakine is very unlikely to count for 100% of sales ... Perhaps 10% - £15M of which we might get £1.5M each year (on average) - but will we?

IF Zenakine goes into hair products and Sun protection products too then of course we can treble those numbers.. What are the IFs and BUTs - that is why we need SBTX to publish their accounts.....

Without that data its still a guess.

I suspect the BIG TRADES are all paired off (pre-transaction) so its only the SMALL TRADES that are affecting the price...

So the fact that its risen today - has nothing to do with the BIG TRADES but simply there is more demand for small parcels of stock then there is supply...

Its just a simple question of supply and demand.

a) That FTSE100 croda mentioned Zenakine in its results.

b) That zenakine doing well..

c) the price of SBTX is very low compared to its recent highs...

We should soon start to see cosmetics all over the UK using

I know we might be disappointed but would the SBTX share price rise or fall (if it was nearer £20M then £10M)?

If would have near £20M from Croda and £4M from float... £25M would be over 50% of the total value of SBTX and we would still

have the SuperDrug business and everything else. We just would not get royalties from Croda.

WILG: Since CRODA actually NAMED Zenakine in the results as doing well, I think we can assume they are talking about Zenakine. Its not rocket science or mystic meg. Its just a commonsense connection

There is no agree takeover of SBTX because, if you think about it for 10 seconds there would be no point asking for cash (the recent float) if the company was about to be taken over... In fact, old shareholders would actually LOSE MONEY if there was an agreed takeover and SBTX diluted the share capital... It would make no sense for anyone. So we can be pretty certain there is no takeover on the way.

It on the back of probiotic cleaners - something that SBTX probably also can get into but lets stick to what we're currently in. If Tristel can make £6M from cleaning I'm pretty sure using similar technology SBTX can make £6M from "probiotic" skincare and gut health products
