I was thinking more like £60K from Zenakine at this stage not hundreds of thousands.....

Anyone know where the extra cash came from?

The key to the update is cash position "Better than expected".. The buyers coming back as they sniff "zenakine better than expected" hidden in the cash...

The OLD market is basically made up of "sell on news" - Hopefully the NEW buyers will be BUY on increasing Zenakine sales....

Is the revenue RANGE to stop people calculating how much Zenakine revenue we have?

If so it does look like it could be in the 100s of thousands which is definitely more than the market thinks...

I would have thought it made no difference what Zenakine was mixed with - there will be a set price agreed for Zenakine.....Where it gets tricky (if there is no set price) is if Zenakine is mixed in with something else and Croda say "you can have the Zenakine bit for free".... What happens then? As long as the Croda say we get X pounds per litre it should be OK..... Touchwood....... But we dont know

Bel: Since royalties are tiered I would suggest we might only get a tiny percentage at the beginning (alas) and will not get any double digit royalty until its in the shops and is a proven big seller (by REPEAT ORDERS)...... But even a small royalty payment would ease the markets mind - especially if it comes with a good explanation....

Buyers are coming in at this price hoping for a quick bounce "if" or "when" zenakine news breaks out into the open...

I have to admit even if I have to wait until the Interims or final results I will wait. I'm in now, I'm not leaving come hell or high water until I find out if Zenakine is making serious money for SBTX.

Yes this potential target is still doable provided we get some form of RNS saying Zenakine doing excellent before the end of August. All rises and falls before news are just noise and have no real meaning ....

Actually I think you knocked the nail on the head. He has gone on holiday and forgotten about the whole RNS thing. LOL. I think we're going to have to wait until he comes back from France somewhere - probably at the end of August....

To be fair it was so wishy washy a statement we really just let it go on and probably half expect something in a general sense in the next few weeks.... It was badly worded for sure, the reason for the delay is probably PRICE SENSITIVE so lets hope its "Good" price sensitive not bad.😀

What do you think SBTX will say on MONDAY - if they do report something what do you think it will be?

The accounts look good - Good NAV, nice cash pile and low market cap. And all the figures heading in the right direction.. Unless you know anything that I dont - I would of thought if we just hold the figures will just get better and better... What is not to like? Am I missing something?

Does anyone have a view as to why we are getting constant CRODA director buys? Are they confident ? Or are they just trying to support an ailing price (but if so why now)? Is it possible Croda itself could be about to get a bid? Any ideas?

Toyin: What you said is true but I think (correct me if I am wrong) that its irrelevant. SBTX does not need to give a financial update in August however he SHOULD morally give an update of some sort as he said he would. That update does not have to give royalty amounts (as far as I know) but it should say at the VERY LEAST that royalty payments have started and that they are as expected (or lower, or higher ).

There have been loads of them now. Anyone want to hazzard a guess as to what is going on?

Giving him the benefit of the doubt chatGPT defines the last day of early August as 10th August. The last TRADING day before the 10th August is tomorrow. Thus if we dont get an update tomorrow he has missed early August as Monday will be the 11th (a day late)....

However, I'll give him at least Monday as a bonus. So If we dont get an update by Monday 11th August he will have missed all deadlines (considering he originally said end of July)....

On the other hand his words were a bit confused and unsure (at one point he said Summer) but since there has been no later clarification (that I know of) I will say MONDAY is the very last day he can realistically say "its early August".. It needs to be professional - if you say a thing you have to either stick with it or give an apology alongside a new date you're aiming for.

Does have anyone have the exact wording as to what Ashman said about an "August Update" and any subsequent amendments to that original statement. My memory is not that good and I might have misremembered some important detail.
