Well this afternoon has been "entertaining", I used to watch the Muppet show as a child, never thought I'd get to watch it on a bulletin board, but I digress.
As AG mentioned earlier there seems to be too much emphasis put on this 1000oz target in December. Sure Robbie made that statement and it's been put into various presentations recently but December is just one month.
In the great scheme of things if they hit it in December, January, February of whenever that is NOT the important thing and certainly doesn't change the long term goals of Caracal.
Caracal have always said they have a 12,000 oz target for Kili for 2022, so whether that comes in 12 nice even 1000oz months or some sub 1000oz months to start with followed by some 1200oz, 1500oz months towards the end of the year. The result is the same. 12,000oz is 12,000oz that's their target.
Personally I think they will smash that and Caracal are already talking about higher targets so I'm certainly not worried about that.
Sure if 1000oz isn't hit in Dec as stated Robbie might have egg on his face but he did say Jason and the team wasn't too happy he'd set such a high target so soon, but it's certainly something to aim for so let's see if they did manage it.
Let's not forget in September we were hitting around the 560oz mark so 1000oz is a huge step up.
Whatever the outcome for December the fact is, if production is increasing we are heading in the right direction, as time goes by it will continue to increase, at some point in 2022 we will be hitting well above 1000oz pm and all the talk (and worry for some people) will be a thing of the past.
Remember we are only 5 month since listing and things grow as time goes by.
The current SP is currently hovering just above listing price in sept 2021 but there are LOTS of bigger companies who can't say the same this year. So many have tumbled recently (20, 30, 40%), that the market, so don't be too worried by the seemingly low/stagnant price.
True value will be reflected in the SP once the market settles, it's all about consistency, growing, improving. Something Caracal are doing on a daily basis.
