Apologies for not going through the whole of the recent postings but at 400-500 per day it's a bit challenging and so this may have already been discussed. Basically my understanding is that SNG is likely to be part of the ACTIV2 study in the USA, which if it turns out to be the case would boost the SP.
The ACTIV2 (according to the gov't website [clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/record/NCT04518410]) has been ongoing since August 2020 -- essentially the question is that when would they name the participating drugs in the trial and why then? (I'm not expecting a "Monday" sort of answer here espc since of course nobody knows that precisely, and I've watched the various videos posted on the BB that were excerpts from TV/media where some of this was discussed, but I'm trying to understand why "now-ish" there's an expectation that participating drugs would be named if the completion of the study isn't due till December-ish and it's already been ongoing for a relatively long while)

Worry you not, once this is over there still won't be money for the NHS or the people that work in it. They print money now and then eventually recoup that from middle class taxes but the health system won't see much of it. It's just how it goes. :/

I was just thinking the other day, if/when EUA completes the sale companies like this one will get a fair bit of buying going on all of a sudden.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even those who aren't fully jolly-happy-singalongs. As much as "some people" like to tell off the so-called bedwetters for being less-than-happy-go-lucky, everyone can equally "STFU" to quote you. Or filter. Or just f... off indeed. You, me, anyone.
Especially those that love to collect "likes" on this board love to forget that not everyone joined in at 3p or some such levels. Obviously I don't mean all the popular posters are like that but many are. And a lot of people lash and bash out at others saying DYOR but hands up who actually has personal experience with mining and geology and the political workings of Russia/China/etc -- all at the same time. Probably very few. I work in IT and read relevant stuff for my field, been at it for well over a decade and still would struggle to make "the right" investment choices with the fairly wide knowledge I have in that field. If you say that's entirely my fault then one of us is stupid.
People that make decisions based on what's being said on this BB are usually not the ones that have the knowledge of all those topics outlined above, and before someone says "well then those ppl shouldn't be here", perhaps true, but that applies to the majority of readers and commenters here. If people had wanted to "get rich slowly", they'd probably invest in ETFs or traditional saving accounts or something that's not on AIM in general. Yes to be on AIM needs a bit of a stronger stomach I'll give you that.
Very few admit that 1) PIs have little-to-no influence on what's going on with EUA and 2) in all fairness our combined opinion is worth f...k all in the big scheme of things. The sale should happen. Will it be x or y p/£? It's very obvious that the guesses are very extreme and as such essentially irrelevant.
This is AIM where sh.t flows up or down and does it rather very quickly. Yes if people don't like that, invest elsewhere. But stop this crap about 'bedwetters' and whatnots. It's very childish and just because some have invested when the stock was cheap, good for them. They've multi-bagged, sliced, whatnot. Easy to be b...tching at those less lucky/"DYORd"/IDC.
You will have to excuse those that have been sitting around since summer or so listening to the dozen of identical posts per week all above the lines of "mega rns is coming" and "we'll be rich in a jiffy" and whatnot and seeing other mining companies doing significantly better over the past some months than EUA. Again, this is AIM, it's how it is. A bit of mutual respect would be nice (yes, from both sides! Those that call the others bedwetters and those that are genuine holders but have doubts. Even those that short. People want to make money. All people want to make money.). And anyone that doesn't like it, filter/stfu/f-off/drink something.

Works for me if it goes up :) - my avg is around 3.5p-ish so happy already but as a % of my total I don't have particularly large proportions here...yet. Let's see how the next days go!

Pretty happy the price is up but I'm still curious if there was anything specific new or people mis-reading the year of that RNS mentioned below? No speeding ticket I guess, which is encouraging.

There is no info on that AFAIK. But presume the logic is (theoretically), that if 'everyone' gets vaccinated, or at least a high proportion of people do then even if it lasts for only (say) 3-6 months that should be enough for the virus to die off naturally because of mass immunity etc. Ofc that's only the theory.

Someone could create a subreddit and just use that. SNG has one AFAIK, nothing really stopping ppl from making new ones. Reddit is pretty resilient, though not particularly aimed at trading-related stuff.

No idea on that one, sorry.

Vaguely on that note, looking back at the historical EUA prices, around 2000 or so it was more or less where it is now and then tanked over the course of the years. What went wrong there?

I'm saying that if I owned a business that's dependent on minerals being sourced from places that can cut off supplies at a whim of their political wishes I wouldn't see the point of buying assets in said countries because they would cut me off if they felt like regardless of having put extra money into them or not.

"Telsa is in China, and one of it's largest growing markets." -- yes, and if China was to come up with a retaliatory idea for whatever misgivings they have w/ the Americans and say only Chinese EV manufacturers would be allowed to sell in China, what would stop them from doing so. Or taxing the export of certain relevant minerals?
The Americans effectively banned Huawei from the US and significant parts of the EU, and did so rather quickly because they felt like. What's to say China couldn't pull a similar trick?

Though even Putin can't live forever but that's a story for another day most likely.
Even so, if CV pushes more and more people into joblessness in Russia and oil prices keep being relatively low, they might have troubles as well.

Mac -- you know what I meant. If Putin & co feel like depriving the world (or some American companies) from said resources because that helps them achieve their goals to become god-emperors and whatnots, they won't be afraid to do so. Same goes for the Chinese. The fact that there are Russian companies via JVs or similar involved would mean reasonably little for them.

"Tesla without secure supplies, would be like blitzkrieg without tanks." -- most of the said minerals are either mined in politically unstable countries or Russia etc, basically all of which, for a variety of reasons could cut off the supplies to Tesla or the others. It's obvs a calculated risk to them that there's little they can do about/fend against but still.

It's always risk vs reward, what you're willing to risk etc. I'm sure some people, following the pirate-speak here will tell me I'm a landlubber but personally quite okay with having no more than 20-30% of the total portfolio in any specific asset. (Even that's OTT in my world but does happen on the occasion, however as I wrote before a fair bit of my stuff is in leveraged ETCs so that 'balances' the smaller assets' risk upwards.)
Essentially it's your money so do as much as it feels okay to you personally.
