I share some of your frustration - especially ARB. Here in KR1, the gap to NAV gives me a safety net and whilst i would like to see rises, I am not concerned - it will get there by hook or by crook imho.
Remember, its the tempering and dark stressful days that justify enjoying the joy of updays to their fullest!

In regards to divi's I think FXPO has so far clearly indicated that we will see double last years divi (if not more) and as such I dont think it will revert to the 2% whilst iron over $120. We are expanding capacity over the next few years I believe and are becoming a more green option - all good fundamentals.
The fact is that share is hitting highs after 10 years suppressed by risks and owner errors (often lazily rather than actively) and if we can power through the ore upside without a new crisis, i would expect our drop to be much less than the ore impact would imply as we would have re-written our risk narrative somewhat. Many on here doom mongering on basis of doing well - quite a depressing way of looking at things and the narrative you are adding to the actual events is not a foregone conclusion. Some things go up and stay up (does not apply to chinese satellites).

$30,000 per tonne of copper is quite mind blowing. The only downside I can see is that when we get back to the uk from our Caribbean party, some Scallowag will have broken into your house and stripped the copper pipes - £22 per kilo scrap value!

I agree the core of your statements - corp governance not right - s/h frustration. In my experience there are 2 possible reasons for this occurring - first, where BoD is a little weak or "dodgy" and not aligned to s/h interests (I dont think that is the case here).
Second is where you have prima donna scenario - large ownership or in this case massive expertise and comfortableness leading to reticence to do the dull stuff - i think that is definitely the case here - the two dudes do not need us as much as we need them - they are the core reason for choosing KR1 and irreplaceable imho. Hence no kick up the jacksie, no condescending telling of where they list - we, the s/h are the pilot fish and dont steer the shark.
The reality is there is a very simple solution - all we need is a good soft skill enabled, strong supporting FD/Company secretary who will actually enable the duo to do more of what they enjoy, whilst ensuring the dull stuff (accounts, corp governance, tax etc all occur).

I have bought this morning and expect to be showing a profit by end of week but feel it could actually be this afternoon - the overall market is getting a little jittery on US inflation - as that works through I think folks will realise that is positive for BTC miners.

Agree but never mind Slater and Jupiter - Sunday, Dog to name but a few! - i feel semi-active PI's are much better at spotting early winners and sticking as we have no mandates or investors to appease - thats probably why its so much easier to beat the markets as we are afforded the luxury of doing nothing - exactly what I hope to be my strategy here for many years.

Nice to see the hold argument coming to the fore here. For me this has, and will continue to be an income share. If we decline in share price, i suspect our divi will be in or around current rates and as such I will hold. Also, the growing output will soften the impact of any ore price reduction.
I am a long way from not looking at risk but honestly - the constant "winter is coming" talk track is overblown unless you are "all in". For me FXPO is about 3% of my share PF and as such I sleep well and enjoy the income.

If you look up coin bureau on you tube , the chap gives ground up tutorials on security, setting up digital wallets and reviews of the hardware software. I found his stuff the best at that stage (about two months ago lol). Haven’t looked at his tips stuff as prefer bitboy and crypto zombie for a once a week what’s happening (I can’t take much more than 1 a week with zombie but I have to say his btc analysis is v good for the 5 months I have been tracking).

In terms of value, i am of the opinion that the forward pe is still very low given the lower than industry average project to revenue timeframes. As such I still believe we could
Hit 50p in 2021 with 100p in another 12 months.
Thoroughly enjoying this week in the meantime.

I suppose the challenge is sustainable growth in investment. Could prob up amounts per project to 500k or even a little more or take n more projects but the limiting factor imho is our two people - they mentor the projects and replicating or growing that element is harder and they may not want to take that risk. They are successful - probably beyond their most wild expectation - why mess with that? Our insatiable desire for relentless mcap growth might not be top of their work / life agenda. Only they know.

Logic says I agree with you, but we havent sold much if any of the original stakes - so consider DOT that $138m investment, ATOM $28m investment, etc and lets see where we are in a year.
Coming back to your point, I dont know how much of the staking is needed to cover daily cost run rate but I wonder if that is enough to drive larger investments?

Must admit it was your cross ramp on JLP that put this on my radar - thank you (i hope). Small companies that are hopefully just breaching to being cash positive are very interesting and after some research this one seems fairly derisked in the short term. Like JLP, hoping this one will be a share for the long, long term.

1st post for me here after investing a couple of weeks ago. I agree with you NorthernM, the approach is much more that of a small business - hustling smaller immediate deals by using the knowledge and contacts they already have to build a platform to do bigger deals and development. Very refreshing compared to the London City linked dudes who simply use their reputation to repeatedly raise cash and dilute shareholders.
It is quite interesting to see them hustle and not only does it show their localised industry expertise, it also (i hope) gives signals as to their strategic intent - they are heavily invested and I think they are signalling that shareholder value is as strong if not stronger than business growth. Bodes well.

“It’s getting difficult to value” - it really isn’t - we have solid production so the harder aspects to value are risk and ore price.
Ore price - if this dropped 50% we would still be at a pe lower than some competitors who don’t have Fxpo growth.
Risk - lots of it and this has over the last 10 years found many new ways to appear but I do feel it is generally on the up on this aspect with owner less in the fire and russia hopefully proven a point with elections looming.
Not a share I would put money in that I need in the next 5 years but other than that - all good with infrastructure spending set to soar for the remainder of this decade.

Even discounting the ETh or BTC we may or may not hold, the current share price is cheap considering the rise in Asset values since Friday. Add in the expertise and expected future rises and I still expect this to have a decent rise this week - and that is before any more Alt-coin rises.
