Deckchair - beginning to smell...this has been pungent since the appropriation and will continue to be. Major players noit willing to be as blatant in their Rajasthan greasing of palms as a young turk making a name with not much to lose - Abramovich style rise to wealth occurring here.

In relation to our claim, whilst it is good to see these bid values, I think this is circumstantial to our claim value which will be based on the published resource size - not sure estimates of 10-12m do anything. But at 6.7m or 7.6m ounces in evidence - thats still a tidy sum in excess of $1.5bn - not too shabby.

I am still of a view that GoI and GoR will not work in step with each other. The GoR officials want their pay day and dont give 2 hoots that GoI will need to mop up afterwards. Neither side incentivised or in control to give an early deal in my view.

The overall feeling is we are close and we shouldnt quibble. But the market will need to see results for this to move I think given the trust is rock bottom.

It will be done by January, May, July and produce more than 12,000 tonnes, 8,000 tonnes, we arent but are diluting, etc etc. No acknowledgement in what is said now and its relationship to whats said in the past, making forward facing comms in this company pretty worthless.

Fantastic company in the making but understandably II's will wait for what actually happens rather than the forecasts. But to repeat, it is a fantastic company in the making with a lot of the hard yards (I hope) done. Yes - not long till testing news on the scale of things. I had hoped the SP would be higher - we were in the 7's before disaster struck last time and we have more non-operated income since then. Still 1 month till more news is good- hoping that 6's for the SP pre test result.

Some good news in that there but there is a lot of weaselly statements around Roan - why. Just tell us the facts as it stands. - unnecessary obfuscation that breeds mistrust.

First - "upgrade and expansion of Roan has completed civil and mechanical construction" - is the electrical system on site or not?

Then further down, operational readiness testing commencing. The electrical control system originally delayed, is undergoing testing before final implementation expected during July 2024. So readiness testing is not running the whole machine as electrical control system isnt there - same as we were in April pretty much and same tests as done before painting even before that. The electrical system - is it onsite - where are these tests being carried out - is it the supplier doing their tests prior to release?

Ie I don think the electrical system is even on-site, let alone fitted as yet - but that is after deduction rather than being told.

Yes its very poor comms. HD summarises the double jeapordy of silence and then bad news. So in July, no matter what good news is in the periodical updates, it will be shoved to one side by headline grabbing delay and misses (assuming we dont update before that)- that could and should have already been released to the market.

You can say its Neal's job to do comms, but this is Coetzers long term weakness and on form, when things have gone well, they RNS commissioning and getting to nameplate capacity throughput -so LTH and the market will interpret the silence as bad news.

I interpret the silence as disdain for JLP owners and a feeling of unaccountability in our BoD that needs addressing at the AGM in more than words alone.

In life, its often in loss of friends and near misses or health setbacks that we reaffirm the joy of life itself and stop us taking it for granted. Vela is that pain in a financial sense - my other shares feel invigorated in comparison (even the ones in the red!) - lol.

Small cap tech still dead as a dodo but if interest rate drops see money return, the Vela business model may refloat. Pre-IPO funding etc. Its a waiting game (or sell) till then.

We are in the position of having a log-jam of good projects queuing up for capital investment in Paradox so I would agree with comments that non-ops probably take a back seat till we get revenues from Paradox. Salt wash drill, 36-2 production, possible gas plant refurb, oh and potentially another 198 holes to drill in the Paradox!

A couple of decent days price rise on the Pendulum token - we are still well below launch price but a sign of life is always welcome.

Just like this header, there is something wrong with communication.

I dont buy this busy in negotiations line - its a two minute message to confirm all good, or he needs to be on it anyhow. C levels dont get the luxury of 1 dimension focus for two weeks and counting.

THis is Leon's Achilles heel, and will be the demise of his CEO tenure given its been visible for years now and he isnt addressing this weakness

In another company I would agree Gotreal but hasnt been the case here always in the past and hence nervousness. I think JLP has in the past RNS'd these type of events but I could be wrong. Also if we have had Roan commissioning since end May, given this is affecting SP i think its way beyond a churlish childish CEO strop and in fact portrays our management in a very poor light in terms of their shareholder relations.

Delays and revised timelines are easy to take on board, radio silence isnt.

Your 11.47 post yesterday shines a light on why disclosure of the Roan electric component is so crucial. I agree with your view - I would not buy whilst there is this uncertainty - is Roan now commissioning, or are we still in delay. Therefore this information is potentially holding back (or holding up if there is delay to convey) our share price as it will be affecting the behaviour of potential investors.

A good CEO would acknowledge this and find a way to communicate - interviews, RNS's. As I stated the other day, Leon is letting us down here. If he was neck deep in shares I may be more lenient in my view but he isnt - thats been his choice, but it changes my trust levels accordingly. If you weant to see good comms and CEO alignement to Shareholders - you could do worse than look at Zephyr (ZPHR). CEO communicates well and despite a 12 month setback has managed to keep LTH in loop and he is heavily invested. I doubt Leon will change and as JLP scales, his positives for me, are more offset by the negatives.

Im still invested and still see this going up - it could be more comfortable and go up faster with the right CEO in my view.

My question or request from Mark would be in relation to if a raise is needed. Can he dual the process to allow existing investors an option to partake (ie to allow us to avoid dilution?). In the past Cahriot Oil (CHAR) has done this a couple of times with the existing rights allocated next to an II process.

I thought this was a really good video. In reference to the arbitration announcement - Mark says there is a new minister of Mines and I suspect that the PAT strategy is to allow a period of time and call for meetings now the new ministers tenure is underway. This should ensure that the GoI can not use the change of minister as an excuse once arbitration starts. I suspect therefore it will bo 60 to 90 days from now for notice to be given. I dont think Mark is optimistic of an early engagement to resolution but you never know - depends if new government wants to project a business investment friendly view and say its different under us message - politics ehy!

Unless one of our claim partners is to leave the party, I dont see the valuation drivers for PAT being affected but I am, to my wallets detriment, occasionally blindsided by new and novel ways for a share to tear itself a new air sole.

I appreciate your views but my decision was about more than just this current communication void. I am also reflecting on the lack of clarity of plans. I am very tolerant of delays and the difficulties the firm faces, but Leon interview never review past releases to the current redirected view, RNS's the same, so for me it is more than merely this 1 example. A fish rots from the head and if its just me feeling this then fine and nothing changes, but the distance between LC and PI's has never been greater in my view.

LC comms the same as ever and as such I have been giving it a lot of thought but I think at the next chance to vote, as it stands I will vote to remove Leon. Despite numerous times this has occurred, his comms are appalling and bordering on contempt in terms of the message to PI's. He doesnt invest his own money either. No change or evolution of skill set is showing that indicates he can make the journey with the company to being a larger more corporate entity.

Whilst I would love for him to stay, do we need his vision now? I would say on balance we need a better communicator and operator as CEO personally. I can only see the issues he stubbornly clings to in obfuscating progression communications and not informing shareholders becoming a bigger and bigger issue as we grow, whereas the size of the business should allow culture and skill levels to remain without him if he doesnt want a lower position.

Dorfan - appreciate your view given you have trod this path yourself to see if I am wide of the mark, but i havent come to this position in anger - rather it is a reluctant conclusion.
