Given that Celtic is a distributor, I'd imagine that as yet they're possibly not aware. Not even 48 hours since the company announced their decision, plus the fact that it was WIE, IT-IS would not have had an opportunity to communicate with their customers/distributors.

Shall be interesting to see what happens going forward, however I'm expecting new and better third party made instruments, with Primerdesign and Yourgene branding, as has been done with Magbench.

To be fair, this should have happened under the previous regime, IT-IS has been underperforming for years, pushing the same old product and no apparent advances, no surprise that revenue continued to dwindle.

At least LR and SG have acted and taken the difficult decision. Instead allocate the cash to parts of the business that are doing well and more likely to deliver!

James McCarthy was on record as saying, that it was he that put the website redevelopment on hold and that this was due to the Yourgene takeover, he was aware that Yourgene had a reasonable website and thought that it would be better to wait until post acquisition......seems reasonable.

To be fair the website issue needed to be addressed....hopefully a sign that they have something to announce...however, putting those ducks in order first
