A *NEW* monkeypox strain in the UK
The defence simply has to prove that the DHSC data is unreliable and incomplete, compiled from multiple sites without reference to ANY validation protocol. Also, clearly the kit/instruments has been used correctly within the NHS, hence the repeat orders, although I'd bet that the DHSC have brushed that under the carpet.
Also, the opinion and expectation of the board shall be based upon sound legal advice, this shall be from the legal advisors employed to make our defence, but also Janet K. and Nick Plummer previously.
To my mind an accounting technicality, an absolute worst case scenario that the board has to acknowledge, however they have an opinion and an expectation. As per note 18, the group believes that they have strong grounds to defend the claim and recover outstanding sums.
From page 6:
We draw attention to note 1 (going concern paragraph) and note 18 in the financial statements, which indicates that the group is in a legal proceeding with DHSC. As stated in note 1 (Going concern paragraph), these events or conditions, along with the other matters as set forth in note 18, indicate that a material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. Our opinion is not modified in respect of this matter.
Wow....Market Cap £284.2m. Forecast revenue £3m for the year end 2022 and 2023. Does AVCT have £99m in the bank.
Apply the same multiple/valuation to NCYT and the share price here would be well North of £8.00. Just makes you wonder, the DHSC has a lot to answer for.

"living with" frequent mass Covid infections is a BAD IDEA (& what we can do!):
There is a negative feedback cycle for transmission & *each time* we go through it in a wave we damage our people, our NHS and our economy a bit more. The virus evolves & drives more waves. Waves are closer together & higher in 2022 than in previous years!
Lots of evolutionary space left, & there is no inevitability towards mildness.
Long term sickness rises with every wave and depletes our workforce - especially as Long Covid commonest in adults of working age
