Looking at todays trades so far, if you strip out the cash/isa (?) at start of play it looks very balanced. Suggests that there is a delayed trade to show up

The price dropped around 09:01... wait until an hour later to see if a delayed sell has caused the MMs to pee their pants

Its either that or they didnt like the 20k sells going through

Either way, another dispiriting day

Well for the time being, the players that drove us down from 217 yesterday appear to have us on hold despite $75 oil and the threat of US involvement

You can always make a good theoretical argument in favour of buybacks (EPS, yield etc) but in reality, the last buyback generated little positive benefit to the share price if any.

I would have to find the spreadsheet I ran at the time, but im pretty certain the share price languished throughout - probably as HBR soaked up the sells from US investors

Yes I missed that.....the weekly candle of the w/e 31.03.25 did indeed peak at that level. So presumably its technical traders that are selling from that level, or shorters using that as a trigger to protect their positions.

I still find it v disappointing that the old 'wading through treacle' maxim applies to HBR uptrends.....but not when it drops

Ive been out all afternoon and I cannot effing believe the sell off when Brent is practically at the high of the day

Is the american dislike of HBR so great, or are the US shorters very keen to stop this getting a head of steam up?

Brent has risen to $77 in the early hours only to plummet to $69.9 this afternoon, and is now recovering a bit. Im sure the 'players' in this market will be revelling in their ability to make money with some carefully placed headlines...

You cou ld certainly argue that conflict/war means that charts will cease to be meaningful, however I would just mention that the second of my targets has been acheived (207p).

Perhaps a short period of consolidation before next move up to 230?

Yep we had a mini recovery off the lows when the US seller finished, but now we appear to be back in 'drift lower' mode again

Given that Brent is currently touching $68 thats a particularly cr appy UT trade at 196.5 (around 2.5p less than clsing mid price)

I guess its just typical of investing in medical research minnows. You have to believe in the science as you cant value the company based on earnings or even charting. It often tends to be boom or bust

Every day there is a sell side bias to start the day as quite honestly, I think people get bored and move on. Yes I guess this would be typical AIM minnow behaviour, but if we are to recover, I would prefer it not to start in single digits

Well I got a ticking off for daring to mention a possible news vaccuum and the effect it would have. I totally agree that there is a range of possible things to update, but I do doubt managements ability/desire to do so. Lets hope it is indeed that someone else is pulling the strings
