That Occula bad boy is gonna be doing a lot of work it seems and core of a lot of dMS/ADAS/OMS and pilot monitoring. That work load to be done well needs not to be on the main computer chip unless they build the NPU core into it. We have this - and in the Public domain not a single.competitor has taken this route. For the Collins news today having aviation certify this is the biggest stamp.of approval for ultimate safety you can get imho. See have been there, done that already and have alternative positions more than covered though many diff partners either at OEM or Tier 1 level. Although we shouldnt engage and feed certain posters m***turbation fantasies and those that are.being mendacious its important those dipping in for the first time and exploring their first dabble into owning SEE shares should understand and verify that all positions of camera and lighting are on the table and have already been done by SEE. Redeye have auto related investor day in October. Was interesting last time. POLESTAR ,Smarteye and Acconeer presenting. Unlikely to be difficult questions as tame puffpiece meeting but acconeer seem interesting for radar based in cabin sensing to complement camera oms and external actuation of functions like boot lid opening by waving foot etc.

In any car this level of reengineering need to wnsure the tech is usuable would be awful but Volvo is a premium car. The ex90 is flagship ev and the volvo reputation is based on safety for a long time. Will be interesting to see what happens with future volvo models and with polestar. Maybe too late for the Polestar 3 Smarteye have been lording if they also have same issue. GEELY and Smarteye must be having some awkward convo's.

Software tier one is all well and good Martin but if its unusable or causes more problems than it solves.

Smarteye come across as a clown car company that really ought not to get 40%. Come on PMG get these mirror deals landed and show the market why Magna,caterpillar,Mobileye,qualcomm, Collins etc etc trust us and in some pay to use our tech to support their brand reputation.

If cipia are doing decent things in China but we assume low margin and low asp is there a case for seeingmachines to take them out of equation and squeeze a bit out extra on margin by culling duplicated roles. Mcap is buttons at moment compared to see and smarteye. Takes cipia away from tesla too meaning they would need another route to dms. Is there a case for doing this. Would shareholders here stomach a 5/10% dilution to take 3rd (?) place supplier into the fold. I think I might if cipia business is real and isn't losing cash per install on selling price.

We know smarteye have polestar 3 and this is same platform and interior sensing is acconeer and smarteye (I think) are they saying the smarteye bit will improve what they had before or that the smarteye it needed the edges smoothed out.? Wasn't sure what to make of that tbh
