Brazil and China inaugurate direct maritime route passing through the Port of Santana

On Monday, the 14th, the Secretary of Government of the municipality of Santana, Commander Rubens Esteves, and the CEO of Companhia Docas de Santana, Edival Tork, met in Brasília (DF) with the coordinator of Works on Waterways, Dr. Ângela Maria Barbosa Parente, and with the team from the Waterway Infrastructure Directorate (DAQ), of the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT).

The meeting allowed for a dialogue on dredging in the Port of Santana.

On the same day, representatives from Santana participated, alongside the Zhuhai municipal people's government and the Brazil-China parliamentary group of the Chamber of Deputies, in the inauguration ceremony of the new direct sea route between the two countries.
