This company is like a 'Carry On' film! I've gotta laugh or I'll cry ??????

Shed, I'll repeat myself. I didn't expect funding news to accompany consolidation. I didn't expect news within 24 hours. I don't expect news with the mets.

As for staying in, I don't think the company is terrible or I would never have invested in the first place. My issue is with LR. His decision making or lack there of, his presentational style and his apparent disdain for the small retail investor.

The asset itself isn't in question and the rest of the team seem competent enough although that's not as easy to judge but Lawrence is centre stage as are his decisions and they've left much to be desired in my opinion.

Toral seems like the real deal and providing there are no problems with these final mets then despite LR's insipid performance, the project may just sell itself. Rising metals prices certainly won't hurt our prospects. I would just like some clarity as to what the hells going on, are we selling it or are we gonna mine it in some shape or form and if we are where is the money coming from. That's not too much to ask is it?

Just want to pick up on two points from Shed.

You're "amazed I'm still here", what's the point of selling up when and crystallising such a huge loss? If there's a chance, however slim, of getting my money back then I'm gonna stick around! The holding now in monetry terms isn't a big enough amount to make much of a difference to me but if I can get my original stake back then I'd rather take that chance over losing the bit that's left.

Your comment about some people expecting things as soon as the consolidation was done was incorrect but that's exactly what some other posters were saying a couple of weeks ago. 'Wait till consolidation, give it a couple of weeks and all will be revealed'. Now consolidation has been and gone, folks are now understandably saying wait till the mets. I was merely alluding to this change in attitudes of posters on the bb. Personally I didn't expect news to accompany the consolidation and tbh I don't expect news of funding to accompany the mets but we'll have to see on that one who is correct.

My best guess is that the final final (hopefully) mets will be published and then LR will come out with something along the lines of 'ok now we need a some time to interpret this data and plot the best course forward' kicking the can another month or two down the road and hoping the mets can draw some interest or the Spanish government decide to help them out. Either way i don't see any concrete funding news before the autumn at the earliest.

I get that the mets are very important but I just find it hard to believe that that's all they're waiting on to get funding sorted. If someone was seriously interested one way or another we'd know. Something would have leaked, or the directors would have given stronger hints or the shareprice would have given us a clue.

I honestly don't believe they have a plan that says ok if the mets say this then we'll do so and so but if the mets say something else then we'll get funding that way. I just think they're hoping the mets are good (which they probably will be given what's gone before) and then they're gonna try and hawk it one way or another hoping they can get something decent lined up. I may be wrong but that's just how it feels to me at this stage.

There's only one statistic I'm interested in and that's the bottom line in my account. End of another great week where some were promising we'd find out about LR's masterplan, well guess what we've consolidated and are still none the wiser and yep the already pathetic shareprice dropped even further. I'm now down 91.2% well done Lawrence, superb effort all round.

Give your neighbour UOG as a return gift ;) Meanwhile looking very good here. Holding a million and won't be selling for a very long time. I want a double digit shareprice before I even think about exiting.

Is it correct that anything over $20 is profit for UOG?

Looking at the chart I see Brent Crude heading to $53 over the next couple of weeks.

Luckily no one is asking you Brad because I'd hazard a cautious guess that you're the only one on planet Earth that would describe our situation and the managements performance as 'superb' at this moment in time.

No I don't think dilution is inevitable and yes I agree that we have marketable products and Toral seems like the real deal.

I'm also in BZT from way back. Which is maybe why I'm so pi55ed off with LR because shareprice destruction has abounded in both companies. What I did find interesting however was that LR departed BZT this week. (p.s. Sorry I didn't get you a leaving gift LR but the shop had run out of rotten eggs and tomatoes.) Now was that because Colin Bird thought he wasn't the man to take things forward or was it because things are progressing well here and require LR's full attention? That's been the most interesting point for me this week.

Dilution in and of itself is not the issue. All AIM companies dilute until they can self finance, the issue here has been the missteps and own goals leading to dilution at historically low prices. Most companies try to talk the company up and release one of more pieces of good news to gather some momentum and a higher share price from which to raise from. We previously diluted when the shareprice was on it's knees, while LR publicly stated that he "didn't care about the shareprice" and I'm worried that will happen again. 50% of f#@% all ain't much to raise! Take out comissions and charges and the companies left with another 6 months if they're lucky before running out again and then you're in (if we aren't already) a death spiral or the equivalent for shareholders which is dilution to the point where your once significant holding is practically worthless. I'm now 90% down. Was 88% last week. Still no definitive news on 'final' mets or funding.

The thing is Shed it's just what you think or believe. Same with Bricks and I've learnt over the years that a lot of people with good intentions think and feel a lot of things. The only thing that matters is facts. We need an official RNS telling us our way forward with regards to funding. It really is that simple or new investors will invariably stay away.

Exactly right Bobby. From memory LR mentioned alternative funding in a video interview with one of the usual outlets. It was never RNS'ed. Also it was never even stated explicitly that there would be no further dilution. It was the usual wishy washy type statement full of caution and very guarded that LR loves to make. It seemed to me (at best) as a possibility or a hope that they may be able to fund via other means. That's a long way from an official RNS saying that they have raised cash via a JV or from forward selling silver credits. A long way. I can see the statement now from LR when the next equity raise hits. 'Well we tried our best to secure alternative funding but unfortunately the climate for miners and with the Covid situation, well it just wasn't possible, I'm sure shareholders can understand '.

We had the Golden Cross (50x200dma) on Friday so I'm looking forward to a sustained long term uptrend now. Good luck to all holders old and new.
