There you go again Shed, 'I wonder why mfm looked in here this morning' lol. There was no special reason. It's Saturday morning and I'm catching up on the bb's of the shares I hold. That's it. There's no great conspiracy or reason behind me posting.

Numptypi I'm not trying to stifle interpretation or discussion but I just think some posters take it a little too far a little too often and I don't think it has been helpful. Just my opinion feel free to ignore.

Before the drop? It dropped 14.29%! Funny way to look after your investment, predicting further falls. Very strange behaviour.

I'm with Bobby on this one. There has been far too much speculating as to what something might mean, when something might be ready, who's on board, a million conspiracy theories etc. etc. Two of the worst offenders imho are bricks and shed. Bricks with the conspiracy theories and Shed with an imagination that would give J. K. Rowling a run for her money! You'd both serve this bb much better by sticking to facts. Fact.

A very nice update. No deleterious elements mentioned so you have to assume they are not there or not a problem. Extremely high grade recoveries and the best bit for me the possibility of now mining the lower grade ore areas with the possible associated uplift in resource size this would bring. Excellent update for once with no 'buts'.

Understandably the market reaction has been poor to what amounts to another rns of dither and delay. Repeating stuff we've heard over and over. They said they were looking at alternative funding a year or two ago! Everything is repeated, still at the desktop stage for the poles and wires, still yet to put out a tender for the work. It really is a bloody shambles. TLOU fit right in in Botswana, neither them nor the government ever get anything actually done! All they do is talk and talk is cheap. That's why the price is nosediving today and continuing the long term downtrend. Years away from any meaningful progress and only God knows when funding may turn up and I don't happen to believe in God.

The deal has been done Duster, they'll get the full 5 million providing certain milestones are met. The company have RNS'ed this, it's well understood that there are conditions to be met. I don't get your point. Do you want BL to reiterate all the milestones and conditions for every deal they do each time he does a new interview? When he states that they've divested Crown for 5 million you can't imply he's trying to kid the market when it's already RNS'ed that it will be paid in milestones. Indeed Brian stated this himself at the time the deal was announced. To go on repeating the obvious for every deal would make all future interviews extremely tedious. For those of us that can read and remember basic facts it is just not necessary.

Ok I've checked the governments website and there is no entry for foreign nationals into Botswana unless they have a valid residency permit and as of something like the 15th of March all visas have been cancelled. So it appears that we are properly stumped for now until these Covid restrictions are lifted. I jusy hope the company and Botswana government aren't using Covid as an excuse for delay. I expect agreements to be signed ASAP after restrictions are lifted coz we've had more than enough delay with this whole project.

The UK government's advice is for only essential travel and if you travel to Botswana then you quarantine for 14 days when you return to the UK. I don't know what the Australian position is but I would imagine it's something similar. So my question is why can't our directors travel to Botswana to sign the deal if it's all ready to go as we've been led to believe and then just isolate for whatever period the Australian government dictates?

The current tax rate in Spain is 25% although it's only 15% for a company's first two years of profits. Also we can expect capex to come down from what the company have said. So maybe $100M.

If we did come within a hairs breadth of going under that falls 100% squarely at LR's feet. Management are there to run the company and run it properly not run it into the ground! Especially after all the waffle through numerous interviews about how well everything was going and how fantastic the asset is. Data room open and all that crap. If they can't run the company and garner some proper interest move on and let people in that can!

BB look at the 10 year chart it's even funnier. Like one long tragic ski jump but without any lift off at the end.

tradeuk, being new here there's a lot of history you don't know about and I'm not in the mood to be educating.

LR does not care about retail shareholders it's as simple as that. He does not care about the shareprice only the final outcome which apparently could have been quite abrupt had they not raised funds. He is shifty and disingenuous in my opinion and neither him nor MC looked comfortable at the last interview I can remember, even when delivering good news they're guarded and shifty. Some years ago with the monumental ****up that was the scoping study, I wrote an email to LR, never replied. I sent a more forthright email still no reply and an email to investor relations, no reply. I'd invested £85K into this company and couldn't even get an answer to my concerns and gripes. That's why I've never bothered with AGM's and conference calls. Treat me with disrespect I'll reciprocate. In fact I've gone quite lightly on the management here considering how utterly useless I believe them to be, especially the tit at the top. Reading the rns's won't give you the full picture for that you'd need to read thousands of bb posts but needless to say you don't pee off nearly every investor by being great at your job!
DB will find a way to massage the price up, encore 'retail analyst'! then sell and crash the price. These funds don't cover the full PFS just 'elements' of it so expect another dilution a year or 18 months down the line. The EU grant if anyone read Bricks' link won't amount to much if we get it. The pot wasn't that large considering the amount of companies they'll be awarding to and given it's the EU we could wait years even if successful. The data room being open amounted to nothing, might as well have opened a tea room and invited DB in to discuss how best they could screw us again. " Do pass us another of those iced buns please LR we really like this company and we promise not to be naughty again. We have no plans to sell but we can't categorically rule it out old chap, good, we knew you'd understand" ;)

This was what I was worried about a month or so ago but got shouted down by the resident geniuses that it couldn't/ wouldn't happen. Yes they're funded now and I still believe I'll ultimately get my money back and some profit but will I ever trust LR again? No.

The resource is also open to the West. From the last RNS;

"The resource update has identified potentially economic mineralisation ranging from surface to approximately 1,100m below surface. The new block model currently extends for a strike length of 3,600m and is still open to the east and west along strike and also at depth where it has not yet been closed off."

No we're massively over valued jog on.

I don’t really care if it's a major or a giant, either way they'll have very deep pockets compared to us!
