Suspended due to Covid-19

Article in FT reckons they are pricing in 3 years of divi cuts. Not long ago we were told how robust all our financial companies were..stress tested. First sign of trouble and they fail !

Big threat from bank of England. They are putting pressure on financial institutions ( banks and insurers) not to pay a divi.

Share buybacks are of zero interest to me...they don't pay the ever increasing council tax and other utility Bill's. There will be no bumper divis going forward, they will buy back shares increasing EPS and awarding themselves bumper bonuses.

Looks like the bank of England is going to interfere and stop dividends. WTF. Not happy.

I suspect that PFC will cancel the dividend. There are so many FTSE companies drawing in spend in an attempt to preserve cash.

Down 40% in a month...one of the better shares then!

Why has LGEN been hit do hard...it has a stable profitable business and does not do business insurance?

The SFO case has been going on for so so long that if the SFO announced they were going to drop their case, I doubt the share price would jump back to the £8 / £9 prior to the start of the investigation. The market seems "asymmetric"...good news and the price goes up a few percent, bad news and the shareprice falls off a ledge.

Either way, how much longer are they going to take?

The CWU actually think that the business exists to give them a pay cheque. They need to be appraised that no profit = redundancies. Why should the CEO offer favourable terms ?
