Concerns regarding their new facility in Argentina and whether it was properly approved esp regarding energy contracts. Although Bitfarms have tended to use hydro power read another article saying that this site would use natural gas not renewable energy.

So this company listed on Nasdaq this week after an IPO.
They mine BTC from waste coal but have so far only mined about 200 BTC.
Mkt capital is $1.3bn.
Any idea why the mkt cap is so high - not sure what their monthly mining levels are.

Inc the US public pension funds , who may be starting to invest to keep up with pension payments. Like the idea of ppf’s investing in BTC as must make it politically harder for US regulators to bring in rules that would harm BTC as they would be damaging public workers pension funds.

Think one argument is that it makes it a lot easier for people to invest in BTC via their existing funds/brokers rather than having to buy BTC directly. - ie lot of people put off by idea of having to step up a bitcoin account/wallet. This may not be the right phraseology I’ve never bought BTC !
