The reasons for this countries ills are the politicians whom never admit to anything other than when something good happens which is not often.

Strange how as immigration goes up benefits claimant numbers go up, A&E waiting times goes up, Hospital beds become less, Schools become more crowded houses become more expensive etc etc.

What we see now is not peaks and troughs in the above but a steady inline increase with everything associated with immigration, even crime and the types of crime. As you say, why is Labour not suggesting dropping the retirement age back to 65/60! And paying compensation to those who lost out by retiring later. And abolishing all student debt at the same time.

And another good idea would be if Labour re-nationalised all those council/public owned houses that were sold off cheap, and back dated tax, on the profits made by the original sellers !

They could save millions per year by removing the lob-sided payments made to Muslim groups to protect their Mosques, Muslim receive twice as much money as Christian churches and Synagogues, for some reason.

Why even stopping subsidising the bars and restaurants in the Palace of Westminster would be a start.

They could stop the payments to female MPs for child care, level up the field so to say.

Disabled MPs can claim for care attendance , over that paid by the welfare state.

In London they can claim over £26,000 per year in rent allowance whilst renting out their own home!

MPs and Peers can live within walking distance of the Palace of Westminster and still claim taxi fares, and they want to cut down on Co2 emissions !
