Age of the voters is immaterial that excuse could be used in a general election, younger people tend to vote left.

If you are old enough to remember or just have a selective memory, most of the Labour party in the 1980s early 90s were against the Common Market /EU even Blair and Brown. And where do you get your information at all those that voted leave we past employees of the EU whom had made their fortunes there, in reality, something remoaners like to ignore, the ones who made money from the EU were very vocal in wanting to stay, like all the Kinnock family, Mandelson, Clegg etc etc all worried about their EU pensions.
The EU and their free movement kept wages down as the pro-EU establishment wanted and of course big business.
Why they are now turning away from free movement and building wall along frontiers.

When every government we have had for the last 60 years wants to import more people every year there will always be an housing shortage. But blame the boomers for not selling their homes!!. What causes house inflation ? an ever growing population that out strips supply, easy really but blame the people not the people whom cause the shortage, our politicians !

Do they wish to be landlords or speculators? I invest ie speculate with my money, if you and i pick the wrong share we lose our money bankers always use other peoples money and when it goes wrong walk away with a nice pay off to the next company.
I personally think this will go pear shaped after all the masters of the universe do make mistakes that is why the lloyd's share price is where it is. Who paid for the PFI fiasco others or bankers?.

Forecasting £30.000 profit per annum averaged over per unit seems rather high, do they need this pie in the sky number to cover everyone's cut, LLoyds, Citra, builder/developers /maintenance /yearly checks etc etc and of course tax.
If they can get £2500 average per unit per month they must be very good!

I can't say your wrong and I hope as a long time share holder in both Lloyds and Legal & General it comes to fruition and does make money for the shareholders.

As I was saying I make a living from investing now and from property, it is not all fair weather sailing.
They will need a partner to build and a partner to manage & maintain the property . All wanting their cut of the profits and they would of course be fair game from any government wanting to hit the banking and property companies, I think they got the idea from Legal and General whom also are planing to go down this road, when the boss buys a push bike for £10.000 and then as to be careful where he rides it it does not to me show to much common sense to me to be honest .
Ia fear in the future the thing will go pear shaped and they will say they are selling the business to concentrate on their core business, as they all do to cover their bad deals.
Time will tell, but I do not hold out much chance of it being the money maker they think it will be.

Now we built the worlds first nuclear power station from scratch in 1956, 11 years after the end of WW2 .
They thought it out designed it built it in 11 years, with no computers, no past history to go on, and novice engineers and scientist in nuclear fusion.
No it will take 10 years to get a re-designed nuclear plant that they use in nuclear submarines up and working.
The younger generation no nothing about our industrial and scientific past, to put it in prospective I was 3 yrs old in 1956 in my life time we have gone from leading the world to buying from the world, accident or planed ?

In fact the reason you do not see many Americans in the Pandora list and the Panama papers is that they do not need to hide it they pay little anyway.
Then the recent scam, the wealthy have their Foundations, even that man Blair has one, donations go in and they can just stay there or can be used by the founders and of course it is tax efficient! And even Prince Charles as a foundation, into which wealthy Arabs etc donate and they get a knighthood and a British passport in return.

In my opinion gained over some decades, banks should stick to what they know, which sometimes is not that much!.
They will go into renting, and find it is not that easy, then they will sell the unit on at a loss in the near future, that is usually the case when industries try to get to smart. Easy to play with others money, if they win they get a bonus if it goes pear shape share holders take the loss, the manager goes with a big pot of our money, rather like football managers, just get sacked walk away with a few million and into the next job.

The only problem with sovereigns is the premium when you buy, specially if you buy in single or small lots.
Then there are a lot of fakes on Ebay etc , the chinese our little yellow friends make fakes even containing some gold but not 22carat! .
I started buying old gold as they say, learn how to check it, and send it to the Gold dealers in Birmingham for the best prices, but take out any gems etc, you will not be paid for them , same with gold watches take out the inners and sell on Ebay.
