Bring back some happy memories with Dragon Oil, bought when they we just a couple of pence after reading a story in Business page. Then I was away a lot and would telephone my wife to go to the Nat west, to buy shares and get the certificates sent out. I told a couple of mates to have a punt but the company name put them off. Got a shed full of the shares and made a very happy profit after a few years sold the last just before the company went private.
Also did very well about the same time with the old Premier Oil company, when they were finding oil around Indonesia .

I consider it is about time the people sat around the big table drawing millions in salary, tried to formulate a strategy for pushing the share price up. It is always the same this or that that keeps this share in the doldrums .
If and when they do one or more of the basics to try and earn their keep, such as a share buy back, special dividend or even a real dividend I for one will be amazed. Or some authentic idea to improve the share price, I will also be amazed.

And as an aside, banks were falling over themselves last week to say they would not lend to industries that cause harm to the environment . For anyone interested , the cultivation of the humble rice plant causes a great deal of methane to be produced. The main growers China, India and the USA .

2012 Charlie boy said wind turbines were eye sores, Prince Phillip described them as eyesores and useless.

Out today why old Prince Charlie is so concerned about the climate, the monarch is making over £30 million per year from the leasing areas of the sea bed for turbine farms. But he is against any turbines in his neck of the woods.

I have gone in to Gore Street Energy , they provide additional power to the grid via diesel generators when the turbines go on strike and they pay a nice divi.
And there is Mast Energy which is still a penny share at the moment at around 10p they are going on line soon with their first gas powered back up generators.

I am also back into Rolls Royce bought in when they were around a pound for the possible upside.
