Whilst Coola is a very promising prospect, the level of exploration is very limited. consequently valuations would be correspondingly low. Pensana paid much less than a Million USD for Longonjo, the valuation didn't come until the verifiable assays had been completed. i dont think selling Coola would provide much in the way of funding for Longonjo at this time.

An opinion that the US and EU are entering into a race to the bottom for green subsidies against which the UK on its own will not be able to compete. On a like for like basis that is true.
Brexit not a great help, but at last we aren't fighting within the EU for central funds and can present the merits of. Saltend on a geographical and standalone merits. Of which there are many. UK dot have to equal the EU/US incentives. But they do have to try. You've got to be into to win it.

It’s a legacy company from when Pensana bought the Angolan asset. There were quire a few. But they’ve rationalized them down to virtually zero. The Portuguese entity being retained because of the Portuguese/Angolan links and the pragmatic requirement to maintain an EU registered legal entity.

And it takes time and knowledge/experience to know where and how to look., but I also think that news is overdue with nothing of any substance since the December capital raise from M&G. Equally nothing was promised except for Q1. I am of the opinion that the M&G Cap raise was significant. i have to admit, i tend to agree with this sentiment for a change. PRE is all about fundamentals and whether the relatively small interest has confidence in the company or not. Trading technicals dont seem to be relevant in the case of PRE or other thinly traded small caps. Far too susceptible to extreme volatility on news, be it negative or positive.

If 7% of all freight was carried at one time, now 12% is being used. Assuming freight volumes remained the same, that’s a 71% increase in freight volumes. On top of this, the volumes have increased as the UK economy has grown. From 1998 the UK GDP grew from GBP 1.5 trillion to 2.1 trillion. If the freight volumes haven’t doubled I’ll be very surprised. All on the same infrastructure the capacity of which hasn’t increased in decades……

She be have a large presence in Europe and will want to preserve their market share if they can convince their customers of their ESG compliance. Processing outside of China may help them in this. SP please read again, that was exactly my point FTX had lax governance and was basically run by one man. Companies such as M&G can and do make mistakes, but they dont double down on them, especially when as has been stated by Eloro it represents “Chump change”. They allow it to quietly die or they exit and cut their losses.. Meanwhile the sponsor takes a hit on his internal career trajectory. In this case M&G have increased their shareholding. For all we know, the boards decision to defer the bond purchase until next year may have been decided after discussion with the large shareholders and assurance of their support if required.

No denigration meant to Elpon Musk, the guy is bright. anybody who can come up with Ebay, Tesla and spaceX and get to be the richest person on the planet must have something about him. However, there is no comprison between Elon Musks companies, and corporates like M&G.

Musks companies, along with facebook, Amazon, and as you ention FTX etc are completely controlled by their founders. some have better governance than others. weve seen what happens to those who dont have sufficient controls. They all have the same thing in common, Due to their shareholding structures, they have disparate voting rights compared to retail investrors. basically what they say goes. Elon decided, on a whim to buy Twitter, even he is wondering why he did it. Having done it, hes trying to make it work. he financed it by persuading JP Morgan to put up $13 billion. Apparently the interest payments are over billion annually. in respect of the JP Morgan facility, the loan will be cross collaterised. if JPM havent taken the whole of Elons balance sheet as collateral then i will be very surprised. They know the risk they have taken, and aslo know that in the case of default they stand the possibilty of owning a large share of Tesla and SpaceX. Dont try to persuade readers that their is any comparison between the JP Morgan facilty and M&G investing in Pensana. if their is a corrolation it will be that you can be sure that JP MORGAN will have covered all their bases as will have M&G.

M&G are responsible for managing the investments and pensions for millions of people. Any and all investment decsions have to go through the same process and due diligence. larger investments will take longer than smaller ones due to the amount of due diligence required. Projects having sponsors who will need to persuade the investment committee (Investcom) of the merits of the project he/she is presenting. Due to the pensions of millions being at stake from bad or ill advised investments you can assured that the process is strictly folowed and signed off at every stage.
