RE: Ramping again9 Apr 2021 14:28
Paul and Hutchy I have watched GB’s presentation. I have not commented previously as did not want to be accused of negativity.
What was interesting was not so much what was in the presentation but what was not in it. For example, previously GB has talked extensively over many months about the cruise industry for both waste water and the breathalyzer and has strongly hinted at imminent forthcoming orders. There was no mention of this at all. Why?
GB has previously stated (AGM presentation) that everything for the breathalyzer had been ‘sorted’. For the breathalyzer to be seen to be ‘sorted’ it must not only be working but that must be proved. Given that there is no regulatory approval we do not have a working model and that would seem to be some way off – certainly well beyond the end of last year which was previously indicated. The whole thing with the breathalyzer does not pass the sniff test. If it is so good why aren’t the UK, and indeed most other governments, all over it, not to mention large corporates? Governments are throwing #/$ billions and billions at testing and if the breathalyzer really was any good it would be being fast tracked and supported. It is not and therefore I have real doubts about it. Even the involvement (if any) of Dell is not mentioned any more. In the meantime other organisations seem to be stealing a march on us.
I have personally always liked the waste water testing but there seems to be little progress there either.
Frankly I am just getting increasingly sick of the drip, drip, drip of hints of orders and sales that just are not get delivered.
It does not really matter what I think of the presentation – what matters is what the market thinks. The SP is roughly where it was before the presentation which tells you all you need to know. This company has failed to attract any significant institutional support and unless there is actual delivery rather than hints and stupid twitter countdowns this company will not attract strong support.
