0M may not have commercialised yet, but the fact we put a £2m option price on the tech based on first year expectations/pipeline is pretty telling I think.

My sense is we have turned a corner. I don’t think we will get much before a TU in Jan (possibly CFO/NED announcement), and I think the TU will disappoint some.

But then if history repeats, we will get a steady stream of good news in Q1 and Q2 .

For anyone interested, the FCA will be appearing at the treasury select committee tomorrow at 10am to answer questions about their role in the motor insurance debacle.

Agree - difficult to think Halley wouldn’t have had a great handle on the existing and forecast numbers when he made the announcement.

Interesting isn’t it that our Exec Directors, AP and PF own 0.19% and 0.004% of Vast respectively (ie practically zilch), but own 17.8% and 5% respectively in Gulf.

Oh, one last thing of note…

Upfront is backed by Apex Ventures, a well known MedTech VC company based in Switzerland. The one person at Apex they have had huge dealings with is VC Partner Pooja Sikha.

Pooja is also a general partner and investment adviser to KHP.

The other investor BTW is KHP Ventures.

I mentioned below that 52 North were part of the Cedar Sinai Accelerator program (they were in Class 9 earlier this year).

And in case anyone missed it, two of the new investors are the current deputy chairman of ABCAM, and the former CEO of Roche Diagnostics. You'd think between them they'd know a thing or too, as well as a few people who might help oil the commercial wheels.

We are the CDMO partner for 52 North. We have transferred their product, Neutrocheck, into manufacturing (ie it’s gone through the whole development phase). That product is just one of 8 in the U.K. IDAP program, set up to specifically accelerate NHS adoption of transformative devices. Alongside that, 52 North have been part of the most highly regarded MedTech accelerator (Cedars Sinai based in USA), which has now also invested in them.

Fundamentally it’s clearly going places - there is now an extremely strong likelihood of NHS adoption, much great international adoption (US, India for starters), and we are almost certain I think to be making it.

And if there were any barriers to that in the US because we had no US presence, then that’s recently been rectified with our new US office.

Personally I thought the testimonials from, and the nature/quality of the investors more exciting.

Also noted the reference to Neutrocheck having been granted "breakthrough designation" through IDAP. Very fair to say the same applies to Upfront, from whom I am expecting more trial data shortly and potentially commercialisation in Q1 next year.

These two products have been the jewel in our crown since their inclusion in IDAP and there remains the liklihood of NHS adoption and now far greater potential for international adoption (IMO)

Worth noting that ABDX are most certainly still involved with Neutrocheck, given just last week Yates was seeking distributors for it n India and ABDX staff have been reacting to the 52 North post this morning.

Well, I understood from the presentation that average burn during the reporting period was £400k p/m, but it currently sits (and is expected to remain) at £500k p/m

Is that the 7.5p stock done now, or is there still some left?

Whatever, you’d have to go back many months to find similar daily volume to what we had today, and even further back to find a day so dominated by buys. Is it technical or is something in the wind? If it’s the latter, I haven’t noticed anything.

Despite my feelings, we’ve had no confirmation of any description that ABDX have any bird flu test in the pipe.
