RE: How long does it take to finalise a deal ?????14 Jul 2025 22:10
Well, we closed (having bounced off a rising 50DMA) at our highest level since March and, supported by frequent and sustained auction bids, above what has proven stubborn resistance at 0.08p. That, coupled with a strong closing VWAP and a rising RSI all suggests to me that sellers at 0.08 may have cleared, new buyers are comfortable chasing higher prices, and sentiment is shifting from consolidation to expansion. In other words, a technical breakout maybe on the cards.
But then add in the business itself. CIQ is in a really great space as adtech moves from general site traffic to connected tv/video. Old methods of targeting like cookies are being phased out as we become more privacy focussed, and so contextualised targeting is the new way. This is all demonstrated by recent Halley pointers to pieces by the big boys like Tradedesk, Amazon, Roku etc. And of course it’s the younger generation who have grown up with connected devices that are now the “buying” population.
And then the commercials. We know we’ve spent 6 months on successful trial campaigns and it would appear are now poised to sign deals with multiple major agencies. The revenue will be nice, but it’s the validation of CIQ as a solution that really counts.
And then the CEO. Unpaid, remunerated solely on SP performance, clever guy, right sided the business, changed strategic focus to capture trends through AI, and forged relationships with expert engineering teams like Koneqt (with their founder investing heavily in us).
And finally the financials - costs massively reduced and, so we are told, GDM currently profitable with Yentra expected to be from the outset. Fully funded to drive CIQ adoption (secured by way of subscriptions not placing), all legacy balance sheet issues dealt with, and little debt except the Keith CLN (if I recall correctly). There is a warrant ladder in place, initially exercisable at 0.009, but that only further incentivises growth.
Im glad I’m loaded up. I believe Halley when he teases us with deals and future performance expectations - the only fly in the ointment will be if he doesn’t update the mkt soon with details of them.
