Agree with all the positives ralacorn. I just can’t see why a major US player would pair their flagship product with our assay after months of collaboration unless they were confident in their sales forecasts.

If there is a negative for me, it’s that we don’t have EUA. If that were to come though in the not too distant then our automated turnkey solution would, I think, become the go to test for high throughput labs.

Precisely JH2704! We may be in the dark but you can bet your bottom dollar than BC aren't, so it is telling that they decided to marry their flagship product with our tech to provide a one stop solution, particularly given the stated priorities of the FDA for solutions that reduce reliance on supplies and generate high throughput. I have faith.

It’s noticeable that India have gone through a single wave of the virus, unlike many other parts of the world which have had 2 waves (the second being worse) and with some now experiencing a third.

Yep, so much potential here.

If there is one thing I’d love to see come through it would be good news on the FDA EUA.

On the plus side, I just can’t see that BD would have put so much effort into the collaboration and automation work, and thereafter entered into the distribution agreement, if it had any concerns in this respect.

On the downside, the FDA seems to be a bit of a fickle beast when deciding where to prioritise its review work.

We have been told that tests offering high manufacturing capacity (tick) and high throughput results (tick) remain a priority, and the latest FDA Town Hall transcript seems to confirm that but, whilst I’m betting it won’t happen, the risk of deprioritisation still looms until the EUA is granted.

Risk and reward is what this game is all about though eh!

In the Nov 20 presentation we we’re told that there was a significant opportunity with a European country Ministry of Health which, if converted into a sale, would be a low double digit millions of pounds to be delivered in Q1 21. I can’t see that we have heard anything further on this and wonder if anyone else on here can tell me if there has been any progress in this respect. Thx

So if I may Big Al (or anyone else!).

Am I correct in thinking we have a top tier, high throughput thermostable test with permission to distribute in the US pending approval, a large US distribution partner, increasing potential in India and South African approval, all in an environment when there is $$$$$ for investment and in circumstances where third waves are already happening (Italy), vaccine roll out is stuttering in parts of the world, and variants that can evade vaccines are on the loose?

Sounds a pretty good investment to me....!

Pretty new in here and trying to get my head round the moving parts. Am I right in thinking;

- Divoc launching lab testing on Monday, hopefully using our test, which might infer FDA approval is v close given the need for either ICMR or FDA approval in India

- we are hoping for a slice of the Biden cheque through the BD partnership, regardless of FDA approval

Apologies for my ignorance and hoping someone can just confirm the specific reasons for excitement at the mo.
