Its the financers that take on the said debts that make the SP volatile. They manipulate the SP and trade on it. They don't like companies like RRE that hedge income, they prefer trade swings.

US retail sales boom and central banks underpinning stocks.

From another board - The Bank of England has published the list of businesses which have received a taxpayer-funded bailout under the UK Government’s Coronavirus Corporate Finance Facility (CCFF). Some of those that have received this funding are M&S (£260m), EasyJet (£600m) and Rentokil (£600m). The Fed has already announced a $6 trillion tidal wave of quantitative easing compared to $2.1 trillion for the 2008 Financial crash ~ and we've only just begun!

That is what I was looking at, hopefully you are correct. Central banks are going to underpin the stock markets I believe is what is boosting equities. Thoughts anyone?

Over 20% down from recent highs. Plenty of room for a decent rise. Might have to be patient though.

..are returning to their offices this week at JP Morgan Chase etc. This has got to help with trade volumes. Markets have been in protect and preserve mode we need $$$$ pouring into stocks.

I think that scenario is only viable if the SQZ transaction was near to closing or had already closed, which it hasn't.

Hopefully the II's will start bargain hunting and we shall steady rise to £1/sh

From RNS - This pipeline will connect the two Arran drill centres/subsea manifolds to the Shearwater facilities for processing and export and is a key milestone in the development. RockRose has a 30.4% interest in the 31 MMboe Arran field, which is forecast to come onstream in the second half of 2021.

H2 2021 Arran comes on-line. Oil and gas price dependant I think. More production at low OPEX to average down the current $29 lifting costs would be beneficial. Any new deal they do for oil should exclude decommissioning liability like the PMO deal with BP does (I think!)

DOW futures up 2.21%. Recovery is on.

2020 was always going to be a treading water sort of year due to Arran Capex etc. The Brent drop has meant RRE have reduced CAPEX. (RockRose has taken action to reduce its capital expenditure in 2020 by $80 million ) to maintain its strong cash position. When Arran comes online adding 7,000 boepd and very little CAPEX high value is added. The broker value for RRE was about £37/sh pre-COVID. Food for thought !!

FTSE higher than anticipated plus DOW futures storming higher. What a beautiful day !! Close above 77p I believe was the key and then clear sky to 88p.

Brent is up slightly. Can see Brent clearing $40 again. There could be more OPEC+ cuts if it doesn't.

Have I got this correct?
RRE production is 40% oil, 8,000 bopd. They get $3 above Brent for that oil and lifting costs are ~$29/b but that might fall.
20% of anticipated 2020 production hedged, comprising 455,000 bbl at $65.70/bbl
So $65.70-$29x1600x365= $21m plus $43-$29 x 6400 x 365 = $33m per year. ~$54m earnings for the year from the oil production.

Hahaha Its not funny really though is it. Someone has been buying, shaking, buying, shaking these for a few weeks. Only 13m shares and £22/sh cash. Hold em tight !!
