I had a dabble here several months back , topped up recently as well, this is another overlooked company on AIM at the minute, hopefully that should change.

Reduced cobra profits but cash flow will be maintained, the market is aware of the situation so no big deal.

I think the next leg up here will be when LC news starts which will be late this year rely 2019.
Also its been stated that the directors are keen to buy at these levels so lets see what turns up over the coming weeks and months. Still plenty of news flow to come this year so don't be surprised if the so is considerably higher come yet end.
As has been stated several times, this is a long term hold not a day traders delight, there is a business being run by an extremely confident board, I'm absolutely cert in that long term holders here will se good returns over the next couple of years.
All in my opinion of course, but I have full trust in our board and patience is the key.

Well things haven't quite worked out as expected here and the hold up with the Bots government have certainly gone on longer than anyone here predicted.
I was not surprised however when this funding was announced although it does appear to be on the cheap, old old story though with aim I guess. I will be taking up my shares but won't subscribe for any further allotments, I have enough currently?
I believe that the board must have plans at an advanced stage here and once this is all done and dusted we could be in for a rich news period, fingers crossed in any case.
I've had a pretty p/poor year so far, SML, TLOU my two biggies have let me down big time although I'm not in a loss situation with SML it has been a disappointing performance, smallish loss here but I can live with that.
I'm confident both will turn big style at some point but I wild hold both for a very long time yet unless one or tother has a large rerate at some stage, then I would consider taking some profits.
Anyway mate when is the Turkey romp this year!!! Lol, Or have you been? me I'm still heading to Wales twice in the next couple of months, looks like it could be sunny?

I hope your right guys, DTP is quite correct we need a complete sentiment reversal here, it's been negative for a considerable period even before the Cobre issue imo. I think this week is crucial for a turnaround if we start off on the right foot then we could be off, however if it's negative yet again then I'm afraid we will once again drift until the Cobre paperwork is issued and we get some further updates. Either way if you invested here for the long term it doesn't really matter, but I have to say it would be nice to see us back in the 2's and then onto the 3's. Mr T

dvh I think it will take a little while before the sp gets anywhere near 2p, this has been walked down not just over the Cobre issue but beforehand, something the market doesn't like or can't see here. My reaction is to say that the market feels that SML is over stretching itself, too many projects gong on that will eat away at their cash, I know JP et al are confidant that the cash inflow will be sufficient but I believe the market is yet to be convinced. My feeling is that once LC is up and running and some numbers can be attached to that operation thenthe market will take note, that will be two income streams and some bright prospects elsewhere. 2019 could be the year the sp really gets into gear imo. DVH Seems to me they are inferring that the environmental planning issue will be resolved, once resolved the agreed contract will be met one way or the other, therefore at the end of the contract SML/SMG will be in no worse situation than before this issue arose. Therefore tonnage will be increased over the remainder of the contract to "catch up" the sales targets. That's my take on it. Mr T

Certainly a more positive update than suggested by the market over the last few trading day's! Look forward to the agreement being signed, that should then hopefully put the Cobre issue to bed once and for all. Mr T

Another shite day at the office here. The drop must all be due to the uncertainty in respect of Cobre or the market thinks we are stretching ourselves and the finances over to many projects. Has there been a leak regarding the Cobre situation? Ie no recommencement in June, or are the mm's taking advantage of the uncertainty and loading up on cheap stock? Too many questions and no answers at the moment, however it could all change on one piece of news, J P a positive update is required, hang on wait a minute every time we have one of those the price falls!!! Dvh, 1/10 that's positive thinking and a nailed on bet in betting terms, not many 1/10shots get turned over? This share has been dropped throughout 2018 by the mm's, also there have been constant large sellers around, the tide will turn soon, patience and keep reading and looking at why you invested in the first place, positive cash flow, profitable, multiple projects, board invested, plenty of newsflow to come. Yep all looks like a 1/10shot to me. Mr T

MK Mid 2019 doesn't concern me, it may well be the case that it comes earlier knowing JP. Back to the Cobra issue, after rereading the April RNS the company appears confidant that the agreement will restart next month so fingers crossed that it does. I believe if we get that RNS then the sp will fly over 2p as this is the only issue currently holding us back. Mr T

Prop, I agree,however the statement within the accounts is stating that should the delay prove to be longer than the 3 months already known then a fundraise may be looked at? to fund the company's future operations and plans. These future plans in particular LC are important and my take is that this is what will happen, ie funds raised to be able to meet the boards commitment to its shareholders and the market to ensure LC is in production within the timescales already set out. It is clear that should the situation remain unresolved at Cobre for a long period then the current cash flow forecasts will not be enough to fund all aspects of the current plans! including LC. As I say let's hope all is sorted very soon. Mr T

Earnings, It is standard blurb and it has been included as at the date of the signing of the report, the event was a known event by the board. It is both declared in the Director's report and also the Auditors report. The audit reports have been beefed up recently and will be so again following the Carrilion debacle. The powers that be seem to think that the more written in these reports the more meaningful it is!!! as if!! I suspect this is the reason for the subdued response in the market and our current share price, and until this matter is resolved we will continue to drift. SML is reliant on this income stream at the minute but the statement seems to go further than that and imply that SML will not be able to meet it's outgoings if the situation was to continue? but of course those outgoings include the funding of other opertations and not day to day running expenses. So worst case scenarion would be a hold up on either exploration or getting LC up and running? thats why the mention of a fund raise has been included. I suspect that rather than having a delay in getting LC up and running, if the Cobre incoming funds were surpressed for a longer period than first thought, the company will raise funds in the market! Thats my take on it anyway. It's clear that the Cobre situation needs clarity sooner rather than later. Mr T

A cracking set of results, as expected and the market totally ignores them. It would have been gurasnteed that if the results had been poor we would have seen a 20% drop. Although histrical these results demonstrate the ability of the company to generate profits and of the board to deliver them. Trades today were p/poor to be honest with one or two chunky sells, looks like at the moment nobody is interested in SML!! My take is that these should be tucked away and I still believe the sp will react sooner or later, be nice to be nearer the 2p mark though where imo we should be at the moment, minimum. Maybe some coverage may help over the next few day's and some broker upgrades may be iminent now the actual numbers are out. Mr T

I see a couple of excellent posters have turned up on this board today who I remember very well during my time as a SXX investor. Both very welcome as I'm sure their input will be valuable. News has to arrive here very soon I would think, it's been far too long a silence, when it does if as I expect it is positive this will re-rate. Excellent opportunity to buy if possible under 8p, I'm out of spare funds now but should it continue around this level or fall further and funds become available, I will be buying a few more. This placing is barely 6% dilution, it's an excellent move and a move that was probably a requirement. No further cash issues until June 2019, that now puts that issue to bed for 12 months plus. Onwards and upwards next week imho. Good luck Mr T

Hi Tidd Quiet in here today and a little upward movement, must be near to some news soon imho, Ive been buying a few more both here and SML during the dips. NCCL starting to fire as well looking good there. .still confident here that all will come good eventually, no rush personally as its an ideal opportunity to add more. Good luck mate. Mr T
