I suspect that tnav will be improved when the first part of the redress scheme up to 2014, is correctly thrown out on jr, along with a lot of the claims post 2014.

Dear Birdy, here’s a conspiracy for ya: Double agent Ratty inserted into FCA to oversee a plot to produce a pathetically flawed scheme, designed to fail in court. A final JR at the Supreme Court, legislates only a handful entitled to compensation.. Rattys plan comes to fruition, all the ambulance chasing scum go bankrupt, after huge advertising and admin costs. Rach is happy because the banks awash with all that lovely unpaid extra money, start huge special dividend payments. What ya think?

Exactly the point I was expressing jperryuk, all though it was too complicated for some! Does make you wonder what level of clearance Lewis has, to be able to confidently predict a scheme that will be basically unchanged, some might call that insider trading.

STOOPID, how apt! If you watched the show, or understood what I posted, I stated that Lewis had proclaimed the scheme will be proceeding with little change, backed by Ratty stating the lenders should be grateful at what they are receiving. I also stated I found it strange that Lewis would know such undisclosed information before Mondays announcement. I suspect I have a dam sight more skin in the game than you, the mighty keyboard warrior.

Martin Lewis show last night mainly on fcs redress scheme, featuring Ratti. Lewis summary: scheme to go ahead as proposed, with a possible very small change to numbers and dates. He believes up to 14 million will get an average £700 freebie. When Ratti interviewed, seemed to agree with what Lewis had stated ( how did Lewis know this information before the schemes announcement on Monday?) and stated the lenders should accept the scheme, as it is the best they will get and challenging the scheme could cost them billions more and the scheme has been implemented following the guidelines of the high/ supreme courts ruling. Didn’t feel particularly great after watching that, I only hope the £300 million will be enough, as it doesn’t look like the FCA and Ratti have diluted the scheme after the consultations.

Surely the FCA should have waited to April 1st, the ideal day to showcase their upcoming scheme, which in more than all likelihood will be a ridiculous, biased ( concocted in Nikhil Rathi and Martin Lewis’ lefty leaning heads) and totally unjust when following the supreme court’s decision. Happy fools day Rathi.

Thanks LIBERTY2 for that summary and replying. One can only hope that this ridiculous saga is dealt with fairly in the courts ( by the guidelines set by the Supreme Court, not the ones in Nikhils head) where it is so obviously heading.
