I mentioned metro bank in a post here last month and I was shot down about the lack of similarity. Yes different sectors, but metro made the bbc headlines last night and watch what happens now. My point being that the common theme is lack or credibility and the results can be very similar.
Where do it go from here and justify why??

Reading here about the knife. I’ve tried it before, carrilion, Thomas cook, first republic bank…. I got burnt on every single one. Ask yourself this, if it’s such a bargain why aren’t the Ken griffins of this world buy it up!
It’s stuck. The model is expansion via equity, equity isn’t there and without expansion the model doesn’t work. You say a few years to double bag, but there has to a question about solvency in the that duration.
Until this starts to make solid profits, it’s just a vision of SMS and he could be wrong.

I don’t get your argument Dan re housing. If you deal in investments you should accept that they are supply and demand driven. It’s not really about the house, it’s the ability to borrow that you have to solve for people. If they stop offering mortgages then that will lower the price a bit for you. You can always sell your house for £1 more than you paid if you feel that bad. 😂
