The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I think people need to be reminded that Vast are not merely heading towards production but to profit making. BP is a massive mine with 16 identified ore beds... Of which initial work begins with just 2. with metal prices at recent highs and on upward trends. The slight RNS yesterday merely confirmed further progress towards these transformational points. This period is huge for the company. I look forward to more updates on production, sales, refinancing, assays... All made possible by the progress at this huge asset in a stable jurisdiction. Diamonds too would be a bonus.. A little patience goes a long way on Aim. GLA
Encouraging little update from the company. For those who don't watch, it's a video on the Vast twitter feed showing mine underground and overground track upgrades nr completiin and on schedule and general tidy up work.. The July start is repeated. Very encouraged that they are choosing to communicate this Update.
Agreed a good time to hold (or to join for new investors). It's the 9th of July now, shipment due 13th July so they should update next week. They would need to inspect goods before an update - may take a few days . They must have recruited the workforce already. Surely the update will include a production start date or at least week (it's been the end of July for too long). So, hopefully no delays, but a week here or there should not be a major issue at this stage.
Of course other news re assays et al could come first, so very exciting times and GLA.
Although the delay is disappointing, don't forget there are assay results from accessible parts of mine for Baita from 15th May if memory serves me correct, which are excellent. These will be the initial mining area. The new assay results are from other deeper areas of mine.
Re figures. In the recent Proactive interview AP says that the buyer would be after at least 400-450T but may hold out for a larger delivery up to 550T. I don't recall grade being an issue mentioned re quantity, merely economy of scale from a larger shipment. This company seems to be saving up a bumper news package for July - it must surely include the assay results. AP talked of these in terms of weeks away rather than days at the end of last month...as Fantasy says, these were expected in June.
A reminder that the AGM is 6th July 11am.
I emailed to confirm details for shareholders, and JA (apparently) confirmed zoom viewing details are as listed in the notice of AGM on the downloads section of the website. I think this means no password required therefore.

I'll be watching, and taking notes.

Most metal price forecasts I have seen are bullish...(copper supply / ore quality is forecast to diminish). There will be a lot of positive appetite for our assay results/production start et al, so I'm looking to remain positive as a long term holder here. All things considered, these should be exciting times; but as always I respect the views, past experiences, and outlook of others.

but there remains a lot of uncertainty re CV19.
in the latest podcast AP talks of the drill results in the next few weeks. no mention that these were delayed from the 6 week timetable, but I would imagine that the delays are with the external parties in this case.
There are lots of things to be optimistic about with this share (at the current price).
BP opening next month. 1-2 years worth of previously mined ore ready to bring to surface. Buyer lined up for 400-550 tonnes. Metal prices high. There are negatives too but there's plenty of comments on that at the moment.
GLA.
totally agree...but we do need a positive statement of news, due to the sentiment. Just a hold to then. I do understand the pessimism...as I suspect not a single investor is up on this share, and many LTHs currently down a fortune on paper at least. I remain firmly invested, as part of a balanced portfolio I might add. I have seen the other oilers rise, some with much worse fundamentals. GLA

Putting all the nonsense aside, I am in the camp with those that see that think this is one good news RNS away from exploding upwards. I've been waiting longer than I would have liked for that, but still have faith. Hopefully it will be the start of improved communications from the BOD and improved sentiment. I will top up a little at these prices but it's a strong hold for me, so agree that a little patience is required, and those who sell into any minor fluctuations may miss out - but that is their call. And it is the AIM after all. GLA
