Bit of quick maths for anyone wondering what this could mean with gold over $4,0006 Nov 2025 10:07
Nothing fancy, just rough calcs based on what’s already known:
Bonanza/Morrocota restart – about 30 tonnes a day, averge 8g/t, 90% recovery. Comes out around 2,500oz a year which at $4k gold is roughly $10m revenue. With costs around $1,300/oz so that’s $6-7m margin (conservtive).
Tailings – around 200,000t at 1.5g/t, 80% recovery gives about 7,700oz recoverable. That’s $31m gross value, take half off for costs/tax and still around $15m profit over a couple of years, say $5m a year.
Add it up and you’re looking near enough $20m rev and $10-12m cash a year once both are up and running. For a £2-3m mcap that’s massive. Mkaes sense with they’re pushing the restart and tailings study so hard. Further updates to follow shortly I expect ....
