Agreed BA. People seem to remember that Napster (pre-Melody) were underperforming. They remained stagnant for years, seemingly happy with their loyal users and zero motivation for a better life. Mass Changes are needed at Melody and Napster to push the merged businesses forward. I’ll be pleased that there’s a mass clear out, IF (as I suspect) we replace with better, experienced bods. We want to compete with the big boys don’t we?

I’m motivated by potential - Napster had a $355m mcap back in 2004/5. We all know what EVRHs highest mcap was. That shows me the market is willing to consider these high numbers again, if we can demonstrate the worth of the combined business and the potential for significant growth in the next 12-18 months. Napster can get back to its highs and so can Melody. Together, we have bags of potential. That’s why I’m invested

Easiest sell - free Melody VR viewer when you sign up to Napster

The new Napster app will have to be ‘cool’. If so, the kids will buy content and the parents will buy shares (older generation will know of ‘Napster’ as per previous post. I accept no one has heard of Melody, hence the name change)

It’s a great move - the ‘younger’ generation have never heard of Napster, so this will be new and exciting to them. They will be our biggest target market so happy days. On the other hand, the older generation (‘us’) are the ones who have heard of Napster and are in a position to invest. Win/ win

This year is a great opportunity to build a ‘cool’ new app that is better than Spotify’s app and all the others, plus The benefit of the Napster brand. We have a significant advantage in being able to take the best features from all apps. Would Spotify want to move over to a new platform? Probably not, as they would feel they don’t need to. If we release an app that’s much better and more user friendly that theirs? Maybe. The new app just has to be the best around. I believe it will be
