That’s not correct. In relation to my theory (yes we all have just theories frustratingly at this juncture) 30% are discounted as having no chance from the outset, but that doesn’t mean that all of the remaining 70% are winning hashes. They can’t all be winners as you say. The remaining 70% will still include all the unsuccessful hashes that remain higher than the target, as well as the winning target. It just increases the chance of finding the winning hash by discounting the 30% that have no chance. All IMO
